It seems history may be rewinding, as a newly registered domain name hints at the potential return of Persona 4 Reload – and it’s quite probable that this will be a complete remake of the 2008 game titled Persona 4.
In recent times, we’ve seen numerous remakes of the Persona series, and it’s easy to understand why Atlus would be behind this trend. After all, the series has sold millions of copies and its fanbase continues to grow. Consequently, it wasn’t surprising when Persona 3 was given a remake in 2024, titled Persona 3 Reload.
Currently, it’s been a year since we last heard anything, but a new domain name hints at the potential upcoming release of Persona 4 Reload. It might be announced in the near future.
Persona 4 Reload Remake Could be Announced in 2025
On March 20th, YouTube star and internet personality @ScrambledFaz discovered that the domain “p4re.jp” had been registered.
They found a record detailing the domain name’s creation date and title, which doesn’t explicitly say “Persona 4 Reload,” but looking into its background seems to suggest that’s likely what it is.
According to Faz’s account on page 3, jp was registered in the year 2023. Shortly afterwards, we received an official announcement about Persona 4 Reload. It appears that these events are being replicated here, except this time, the number 3 has been replaced with a 4.

For now, this can only be considered as a well-founded guess, but it’s certainly a plausible one! The fans and critics alike adored Persona 3 Reload, which turned out to be Atlus’s top-selling game during its release.
If Persona 4 Reload comes to fruition, it’s hard to see it not having similar results.
