Dave the Diver’s Like a Dragon DLC, Ichiban’s Holiday, will release on April 10, 2025.
What’s New in Dave the Diver’s Ichiban’s Holiday DLC?
According to Gematsu’s report, Dave the Diver’s Ichiban’s Holiday DLC features the beloved character, Ichiban Kasuga, and his favorite bartender from Survive Bar embarking on a trip to Blue Hole for some relaxation. But, as is often the case with Ichiban, things don’t go as planned during their vacation. In fact, he finds himself in a dispute with Sea Blue when he discovers they are capturing dolphins.
Classic Arcade Brawler Experience
To resolve the predicament, Ichiban elects to infiltrate Sea Blue’s headquarters. But he’ll face challenges along the way, and he’ll require an ally. Cobra signs on for the expedition, and once you arrive at the base, the game transforms into a traditional arcade brawler, where players must alternate between the two characters during combat. Players should be mindful of a bonus prize at the end of this level.
Karaoke Minigame and More
Furthermore, the Ichiban’s Holiday DLC expands content for Dave the Diver. In keeping with the spirit of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, players can now enjoy a new Karaoke mini-game where they can join their favorite characters in song. Additionally, some exclusive characters from the Yakuza: Like a Dragon series will make an appearance as staff at Bancho Sushi.
It’s important to note that Ichiban’s Holiday is set to be the first paid downloadable content (DLC) for Dave the Diver. Moreover, this exclusive collaboration with a major game will only be accessible for a six-month period on all platforms upon release, as announced by game director Jaeho Hwang.
