One Piece: Every Holy Knight And Who Will Defeat Them

The Holy Knights are a very powerful organization within the world of One Piece, considered one of the strongest groups around. They include incredibly strong individuals like Figarland Garling, Shamrock, and Manmayar Gunko. As members of the Celestial Dragons, they have the power to challenge even the most formidable fighters in the series, and they’re likely to play a significant role in the final arc, potentially facing off against many powerful opponents.

7. Unnamed Holy Knights

To Fight: Members Of The Revolutionary Army

While the World Government has many Holy Knights, we’ve only learned the names of a few. A lot of them remain unknown, and we haven’t seen what they’re capable of, making it difficult to imagine who they’d fight. However, these unnamed Knights could be a good match for the remaining members of the Revolutionary Army. This would be a great way for the author, Eiichiro Oda, to develop the Revolutionary Army further. Characters like Belo Betty, Morley, and Lindbergh could battle these unknown Holy Knights and at least keep them occupied for now.

6. Satchels Maffey

Enemy To Fight: Karasu

Maffey is a Holy Knight who appeared in memories of the God Valley incident. We don’t currently know if she’s still working with the Holy Knights, but there’s no evidence to suggest she isn’t. She successfully rescued Shamrock and has even survived battles against powerful opponents like Whitebeard.

She’s remarkably resilient, though it’s difficult to gauge her full capabilities right now. If she were to engage in combat, it would probably be against someone from the Revolutionary Army. A particularly interesting match would be against Karasu, the commander of the North Army, who has a powerful Devil Fruit called the Susu Susu no Mi, allowing him to control darkness.

5. Rimoshifu Killingham

To Fight: Sanji

Saint Killingham quickly became a fan favorite in Elbaf. He possesses a rare and powerful Devil Fruit – the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin – which lets him bring dreams and nightmares to life. He’s already demonstrated this ability by summoning creatures inspired by the dreams of children on the island.

Killingham previously fought and lost to Sanji, being completely defeated in their first encounter. But now, with Imu’s involvement, he’s returned, even more powerful and accompanied by an Omen. This makes him an ideal adversary for Sanji in the current storyline. His abilities are also intriguing, potentially forcing Sanji to confront painful memories from his past.

4. Shepherd Sommers

To Fight: Roronoa Zoro

Shepherd Sommers is a veteran Holy Knight and one of only three currently in Elbaf. He’s been with the Knights since the time of God Valley and, despite sometimes being a bit silly, remains a formidable fighter. Sommers has the Iba Iba no Mi devil fruit, which lets him create and control thorny vines. He was defeated once before, but Imu revived him with a power called Omen, making him even stronger.

Roronoa Zoro is seen as the ideal opponent for Sommers on the island of Elbaf. As both are skilled swordsmen, a battle between them would be an incredible match. This fight is expected to happen soon in the One Piece story, and Zoro will likely need to improve his abilities, particularly his mastery of Conqueror’s Haki, to stand a chance.

3. Figarland Shamrock

To Fight: Shanks

Figarland Shamrock leads the Holy Knights and is considered one of their two most powerful members. Surprisingly, he’s the twin brother of the famous pirate Red-haired Shanks. The brothers were separated during the events at God Valley, where Dragon managed to rescue Shanks but lost track of Shamrock, who was taken in by Satchels. Given this family connection and the fact that the author has presented Shamrock as Shanks’ evil twin, it’s likely they will become enemies later in the story.

As twins, Shamrock and Shanks are remarkably evenly matched in ability and potential. It’s hard to say who would win a fight between them, but Shanks’ strong determination likely gives him an edge. While Shamrock’s Cerberus sword could pose a challenge, Shanks’ Gryphon is powerful enough to counter it.

2. Figarland Garling

To Fight: Monkey D. Dragon

I was so excited when Garling Figarland was first revealed as a Holy Knight! He started as their Supreme Commander, which was already huge, but then things got really interesting after what happened at Egghead – he was promoted all the way up to the Five Elders! It’s a bit of a mystery now, though, whether he’s still officially with the Holy Knights after that massive change.

If Garling truly is as strong as people say, his ideal opponent would be Monkey D. Dragon. Dragon leads the Revolutionary Army and is incredibly powerful, making him a good match for Garling’s threat. Considering Garling is probably around the same strength as Shanks – and now potentially has a special ability gained from his deal with Imu – a fight between Dragon and Garling would be very close, with either one capable of winning.

1. Gunko

To Fight: Loki and Luffy

During the Elbaf arc of One Piece, many fans believed Gunko-Imu would be the primary villain. She controlled Gunko’s body and used his abilities, even reversing some of the Giants. However, when Luffy and Loki fought her, Gunko’s threat was quickly eliminated. Loki’s attack instantly froze her, and she’s currently still trapped in Ragnir’s ice.

Loki and Luffy have effectively defeated Gunko. Although she was a very powerful Holy Knight, she couldn’t withstand their combined strength, even with help from Nerona Imu. Unlike the other Holy Knights who have returned thanks to Imu’s power, it’s doubtful Gunko will be back. She’s already shown some sympathy towards the Straw Hats after meeting Brook, and remains frozen in Ragnir’s ice, despite Imu’s efforts to save her.
