Combat Achievements In Atomfall
Any Old Iron
Completely destroy a robot
To earn the ‘Any Old Iron’ achievement in the game ‘Atomfall’, players should aim to eliminate a B.A.R.D. robot once it overheats. Typically, you would remove the Atomic Battery from its rear. However, when it momentarily shuts off, keep attacking its vulnerable areas (or toss grenades) until it is completely destroyed.
Caught Red-Handed
Cause an enemy to drop their Molotov cocktail
To earn the ‘Caught Red-Handed’ achievement in Atomfall, you should eliminate an enemy before they can hurl a Molotov Cocktail, making it detonate near their own feet instead. Keep an eye out for wandering groups of Outlaws, save your game, and provoke them until one reaches for a Molotov. Usually, NPCs will warn you when they’re about to throw the explosive.
Fast Bowl
Kill 10 enemies with a thrown weapon
To earn the ‘Fast Bowl’ trophy in Atomfall, players should aim to eliminate ten adversaries using any type of projectile weapon they have at hand. This doesn’t necessarily mean you need to use weapons typically designed for throwing, such as hatchets or shivs. In fact, even non-traditional throwing items like a cricket bat, two-handed axe, club, or other melee weapons can be thrown and will contribute towards this achievement if they hit an enemy.
Grand Slam
Take out at least 5 enemies in one explosion
To earn the ‘Grand Slam’ trophy in Atomfall, players need to eliminate five foes simultaneously using a single blast. Locate a Military Grenade, then head towards the row of houses in Slatten Dale at coordinates 26.4E, 78.4N (it’s south of Molly). A group of around seven Outlaws usually appears here and frequently spawns. Remain hidden, wait for them to gather together, and then detonate them as they walk down the road.
Hit For Six
Redirect a thrown grenade with the cricket bat
To earn the ‘Hit For Six’ achievement in Atomfall, players need to skillfully hit a tossed grenade back at an enemy using a cricket bat. This is one of the most challenging achievements to get right, so here’s a tip: go to the same Outlaw group that usually appears near the row of houses in Slatten Dale (26.4E, 78.4N). Save your game before attempting this for easier retrying.
Provoke the outlaws until one of them hurls a homemade bomb at you. Swat it aside using a cricket bat, which can be found on the village green in Wyndham.
Target Practice
Get 6 kills with the MK.VI Revolver without reloading
To earn the ‘Target Practice’ achievement in Atomfall, players need to eliminate six enemies consecutively without reloading their MK. VI Revolver. Regardless of the tier of your MK. VI Revolver, you can accomplish this by locating a group of enemies, such as the Outlaws often found in Slatten Dale at coordinates 26.4E, 78.4N. Save your progress before attempting and aim for each bullet to strike an enemy’s head instantly. Keep reloading your save if you miss even one shot until you successfully complete the achievement.
Miscellaneous Atomfall Trophies
Batteries Not Included
Power up a deactivated robot
To earn the ‘Batteries Not Included’ achievement in ‘Atomfall’, players need to follow these steps:
1. Overheat one of the B.A.R.D. Robots by overworking it or exposing it to high temperatures.
2. Remove the robot’s battery, which will deactivate it.
3. After deactivation, search and gather resources (loot) from the robot.
4. Open your backpack while keeping the robot’s inventory window open.
5. Insert an Atomic Battery into the now empty robot slot in your inventory to power it back up.
Burglar
Use the Signal Redirector to unlock 5 doors
To earn the ‘Burglar’ achievement in Atomfall, players should locate the Signal Redirector, which can be found in either Skethermoor Prison or Windfall’s Crate. Once found, use the Signal Redirector to open a total of five locked doors. Areas like Medical, Robotics, and specific Protocol zones are ideal for discovering these lockable doors that can be accessed with this device.
High Tea
Consume a Cornish pasty, English Tea, and a slice of cake in 30 seconds
As an enthusiastic player of Atomfall, here’s how I’d go about earning the ‘High Tea’ achievement: To grab this badge, I need to swiftly devour three classic British dishes within a mere 30 seconds. Luckily for me, Iris, the village baker, has Cornish Pasties and Cakes up for grabs. All I have to do is pop over there. Morris, our helpful village shopkeeper, also stocks English Tea, which completes my British feast. Let’s see if I can manage it!
Make Do and Mend
Upgrade a firearm to pristine condition
To earn the ‘Make Do and Mend’ achievement in Atomfall, players should enhance any firearm to its maximum level, ‘Pristine’. Acquire the ‘Gunsmith’ ability first, then merge two basic Stock guns of the same kind to produce a Pristine gun. You will require at least four Rusty variations of a weapon for this upgrade process. Two Rusty weapons transform into a Stock weapon, and subsequently, two Stock weapons result in a Pristine gun (with additional required materials).
Mate’s Rates
Find 5 traders in the Quarantine Zone
To earn the ‘Mate’s Rates’ achievement in Atomfall, players need to discover and visit five distinct trading spots.
- Look for Molly at her trader camp in the far northwest of Slatten Dale
- Look for Billy Gorse just to the south of the Old Mine, and southeast of the Casterfell Dam, in Casterfell Woods
- Look for Reg Stansfield in the slate mine in the far east of Slatten Dale, or the far west of Skethermoor (the mine interconnects these two regions)
- Look for Corporal “Bootsy” Hughes on the second floor of a marked house along the main path that leads south into Skethermoor from Wyndham Village
- Find Nora Thorndike in her barn in the far northeast of Skethermoor
Unplugged
Extract the battery from an overheating robot
To earn the ‘Unplugged’ achievement in Atomfall, players need to successfully defeat a B.A.R.D. Robot and extract its Atomic Battery to completely deactivate it. Focus on targeting the face sensor of machine gun robots, as well as the gas canisters on flamethrower robots to cause overheating. Subsequently, make your way to the rear of the robot and keep pressing the loot input button to remove its battery.
