In “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, after allying with Kyonyo, he dispatches Naoe to locate Mitsumune, his former warrior companion who resides at Nunobiki falls during the quest titled “Stolen Faith”. However, persuading Mitsumune to join the cause requires additional effort, as he demands that Naoe retrieve a statue that was taken by bandits. Consequently, the “Stolen Faith” mission becomes crucial for Naoe in fortifying her alliances prior to facing Wada Koretake.
Where to Find Mitsumune in Stolen Faith Quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
In my gaming adventure within the realm of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, I stumbled upon Mitsumune hidden up a trail that leads from Amagasaki town towards the beautiful Nunobiki Falls. To navigate this terrain effectively, I recommend utilizing your steed and the Pathfinder feature to keep you on track. After traversing the maze-like trails of Nakayama Peak, I eventually discovered a camp nestled near the waterfall, where Mitsumune was waiting.
After chatting with Mitsumune, he’s asked me, as a fellow gamer, to track down the statuette of Shinran that was nicked by those pesky bandits for him. Once I manage to return it to him, he’ll hop on board and lend a hand in our battle against Wada Koretake.
Location of Toneyama Post Town & The Statue of Shinran in Stolen Faith Quest
To get the Shinran statue for Mitsumune in the Stolen Faith quest, players should travel east across the Senri Hills until they reach Toneyama Post Town in AC Shadows. Upon reaching your destination as shown on the map, you’ll find yourself at the entrance of this potentially dangerous town full of adversaries.
Instead of charging into battle swinging your sword at every foe you encounter, it would be more advantageous to silently eliminate as many enemies as possible initially. As you make your way along the rooftops, venture deeper into the town, utilize Naoe’s Eagle Vision ability to scan for any blue/objective markers in the area.
Visitors will discover the statue in a modest chamber situated at the terminus of Toneyama Post Town. Yet, it should be noted that this room is under the watchful eye of numerous soldiers, among whom stands a formidable giant. Once these adversaries have been subdued, players will be permitted to retrieve the Statue of Shinran.
Taking the Statue of Shinran Back to Mitsumune
Upon my return to Mitsumune, I’ll pass on the statue to him. His joy at receiving it is undeniable, but a sense of unease gnaws at me regarding whether my comrades will be willing to risk their lives once more in our ongoing conflict against Wada Koretake.
In the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Naoe has a dialogue option when Mitsumune queries if she’s prepared for the task at hand. Players can opt between “I’m all set” or “I’m hesitant,” both of which lead to the same result. Following their discussion with Mitsumune, he joins forces with Naoe in their battle against Wada Koretake, thus concluding the Stolen Faith mission.
