How to Have a Baby in InZOI

In March 2025, the game titled InZOI commenced its Early Access phase, offering players an engaging new life simulation experience. Players can create characters, design cities, traverse a vivid world, and immerse themselves in authentic gameplay, focusing on the ups and downs of existence. Although limited in scope, InZOI incorporates family-oriented play, featuring aspects such as raising a child and more.

In the virtual world of InZOI, newborn creatures, known as newborns, have the shortest lifespan and engage in minimal interactions. Yet, Zois can interact with these charming babies to build a relationship, which will foster their growth as they mature. For those eager to enlarge their InZOI families, here’s a guide on how to welcome and nurture a baby within this digital environment.

In the Creative Studio, you can design characters called Zois, which include children, teens, and adults at their start. However, by progressing through gameplay, you’ll discover three more life stages: newborns, toddlers, and adolescents. To play as these younger Zois, you need to have them born first.

In the gaming world of InZOI, the only method I’ve found to start a family is by marrying a male and female Zoi. Unlike in some other worlds, there doesn’t seem to be an adoption system here. If you’re playing as an unmarried Zoi, you won’t have the chance to create a baby with another unmarried one. Instead, interacting romantically with a Zoi of the opposite gender and tying the knot is the way to go if you want to start a family in this virtual realm.

In a robust relationship, the opportunity for proposal becomes available, allowing players to host a wedding celebration. Another option is to craft two characters named Zoi within the Creative Studio, then establish their relationship as husband and wife, effectively fast-forwarding the process.

Afterward, engage one of the married characters named Zois in a conversation with their partner. Let the dialogue revolve around the idea of “Contemplating Starting a Family.” If both Zois are on board, they’ll retreat to their private quarters and attempt to conceive a child. Players can interact with the female Zoi to initiate a Pregnancy Test once the act has occurred. If the endeavor is successful, a message pops up in the game InZOI, providing information about pregnancy and childbirth. In case of an unsuccessful attempt, they can try again until their Zoi becomes pregnant.

Households with eight Zoi’s will be unable to get pregnant due to household limits.

How to Give Birth in InZOI

In this game, pregnancies take up three consecutive days within the game. Players won’t be able to monitor pregnancy progression directly, but as time passes, Zoi’s character model will start showing a growing belly. To prepare for your incoming baby, players can construct and customize a nursery. A red exclamation mark will pop up above pregnant Zoi when it’s time for her to give birth. Click on the mark and select “Give Birth.” The birthing process is relatively simple, and Zoi will automatically head to the hospital, causing a loading screen to appear.

Every time players re-enter their base, a baby will appear in a randomly selected room within a crib. A message box pops up showing the baby’s gender and an option to input their first and last names. At this point, the baby’s traits are randomized, but features like Values and Desired Lives are yet to be determined.

How to Care for Babies in InZOI

In the virtual world of InZOI, newborn entities can’t be directly handled or physically engaged with extensively. They are confined to their cribs, but Zois can communicate with them verbally and express affection through alternative methods. To interact socially with a newborn, simply hover your cursor over it to reveal the available options.

During the first day, newborns are present, and though players can’t physically increase their own age, they do have the option to stretch out each day if they wish to spend more time with their virtual infants.

The next day after birth, newborns naturally grow into toddlers. As their requirements lessen, toddlers require more hands-on care from the caregivers; these caregivers are responsible for feeding, cleaning, and tending to them. Older Zois can also help teach them how to take their first steps and speak.

Zoises transform into children after just two days as infants. If a toddler possesses advanced abilities, these talents give them an early advantage when they become children. Therefore, it’s crucial to maintain consistent practice and development in their skills.
