InZOI: How To Edit The City

In this virtual world, players can decide where they want to settle, with options including Dowon, reminiscent of Korean culture, or Bliss Bay, inspired by Southern California. Unfortunately, Kucingku city, influenced by Indonesia, won’t be accessible during the Early Access phase. Future cities on the horizon include Brusimo, Goldenfield, Winiber, Haegang, and Recalleta.

As a devoted enthusiast, I’d like to share my excitement about a fascinating feature in InZOI: the ability to customize my occupied cities. Every city in this game has its distinct charm and character, but what sets it apart is the freedom we have to shape our cities according to our personal preferences using the Edit City function.

How To Edit The City In InZOI

To modify the city within InZOI, gamers should click on the “Edit City” button located at the bottom-right part of the screen, followed by selecting “City Appearance.” Once that’s done, they will find themselves with 8 different sections to explore, namely:

1. Buildings
2. Roads
3. Decorations
4. Trees
5. Water bodies
6. Terrain
7. Fog of War
8. Camera settings

Weather

In other words, modifying the weather in a Zoi is all about creating visual differences and has no effect on the Zoi itself. Consequently, the creators of these Zois are free to select a style they prefer from among Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, and Snowy settings. Additionally, it’s worth noting that each weather type can be adjusted across three intensity levels, except for the Sunny weather which only has one setting.

Billboards

Users are given the flexibility to decide between displaying an Image Roulette Billboard or a Video within the game. They can opt for pre-selected Images and videos provided by the game, or they can personalize their choices by uploading images from their device’s storage or inserting YouTube video links instead. To incorporate an image, simply press the ‘+’ button located at the bottom left corner, while for videos, users need to:

1. Copy the YouTube link of their desired video.
2. Paste this link into the appropriate field within the game settings.

  • Press the + button in the bottom left corner
  • Head to YouTube and grab a video link
  • Paste the copied link into the text box
  • Press Ok

In real-time while you’re playing, the billboard will continually show the chosen images and videos, so I recommend giving it a try!

Trees

As a tree enthusiast, I can transform the look of my city’s urban forest by navigating to the Tree sub-tab and selecting from the array of appealing options provided.

To encourage a more imaginative approach, players simply need to move their cursor around the color wheel situated beside the chosen tree, adjusting the trunk and leaf hues accordingly.

Grass

1. Option A: Quickly mow the grass using a lawnmower.
2. Option B: Water the grass to make it grow healthier.
3. Option C: Use fertilizer to boost the growth of the grass.
4. Option D: Plant new seeds for a fresh start.
5. Option E: Leave the grass alone and let nature take its course.

Please note that the city’s grass needs regular maintenance to keep it looking neat and tidy. Enjoy your choices!

This category enables players to infuse an individual flair into the city, enlivening it during the nighttime hours. Here are my top three picks for enhancing the urban landscape of the city:

1. Street Art Murals: Invite local and international artists to create vibrant, eye-catching murals that bring color and life to otherwise dull walls.

2. Light Installations: Introduce interactive and energy-efficient lighting fixtures that cast interesting shadows and patterns on buildings, creating a dynamic nighttime atmosphere.

3. Community Gardens: Establish public spaces for local residents to grow plants, flowers, and vegetables, providing a sense of pride and beautification while also promoting sustainability.

How To Edit Public Spaces

In the game InZOI, players can modify public areas by navigating to any available public location and selecting the “Edit Public Property & Themed Studio” button, which is adjacent to the “Edit City” option. Once chosen, feel free to customize that public area according to your preferences, designing distinctive public spaces tailored to your style.
