Battlefield 6’s Free-to-Play Battle Royale Gamemode Has Been Datamined

Recent disclosures confirm that Battlefield 6 will undoubtedly incorporate a free-to-play Battle Royale mode within its gameplay.

The data for this comes from various individuals known as dataminers, who managed to mine data related to Battlefield 6 by gaining access to files through Battlefield Labs. Recently, approximately 20 images of concept art for Battlefield 6 were leaked, thanks to the efforts of these dataminers.

It’s been rumored that data mines suggest Battlefield 6 might include a Battle Royale game mode, a report first made by TopMob.

Based on the data extracted, it appears that the game mode, currently believed to be under development by Ripple Effect, is expected to incorporate many classic elements typically found in Battle Royale games.

As a passionate gamer, I can’t help but appreciate the exciting aspects of this game – from the thrilling solo missions to the strategic teamwork in trio and squad matches. The armor system adds a layer of depth, while call-ins and loot rarity keep things unpredictable. Update kits and weapons ensure there’s always something new to discover, and the shrinking zone heightens the tension as the game progresses. It’s a thrilling blend of individual skill and team strategy that keeps me coming back for more!

Additionally, they talked about a “free-to-play aspect”, which essentially means the main Battle Royale gameplay. Furthermore, they hinted at “Gauntlet” – a game mode we’ve covered before, found in some of the game files as well.

Regarding whether a Battle Royale mode in Battlefield 6 could be successful or not remains uncertain, but this time, developers DICE and EA appear to be taking the appropriate steps by offering the experience free-to-play. This decision is attributed to Byron Beede, the latest franchise General Manager, who has been instrumental in managing live services for Call of Duty in the past.

It appears Battlefield is planning to adopt a strategy similar to Call of Duty and Warzone, offering a free-to-play version initially to attract players. The idea is that by enabling cross-progression and customization, they can eventually persuade these players to upgrade to the full game, which includes its campaign and multiplayer modes, through premium purchases.

Would you be excited about trying out a free Battle Royale mode within the Battlefield series? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments or on TopMob forum.
