Following numerous encounters with unsavory characters, Robin eventually found camaraderie among the Straw Hat Pirates, who valued her as a friend rather than an instrument.

How Nico Robin Will Play An Important Role In The Elbaf Arc

At first, there was no indication that Robin would take center stage in Elbaf, but things shifted during the Egghead arc. The news of Jaguar D. Saul being alive sparked a plot twist, casting Robin as the main character. This revelation gave her more than one motive to visit Elbaf. Robin’s journey up until now can be attributed to Saul’s inspiring words. He had encouraged her to live, promising that she would find true friends in the future. Without Saul, the Straw Hats wouldn’t have crossed paths with their archaeologist.

In the Elbaf storyline, Robin and Saul have already come back together, and this reunion was truly heartwarming. Following their emotional meeting, the pair headed to the library where they began examining the books written by scholars from Ohara and other prominent figures.

Many fans speculate that this could potentially be a Road Poneglyph, which could significantly advance Luffy’s journey toward becoming the Pirate King.

In Elbaf, there are ancient texts known as Harleys, which contain tales about figures like Nika and may hint at future occurrences. Saul has already shared these Harley texts with Robin, so she is informed of their existence. Given their age, it’s reasonable to suppose they could provide Robin valuable insights into the Void Century’s events.
