In the past, Toshinori Yagi, who was quite young at the time, received the powerful quirk known as One for All from Nana Shimura, a legendary figure who also served as his mentor. She shared with him almost all the knowledge about this quirk, and even though Gran Torino provided some assistance, it was largely Nana who taught him. Tragically, Nana fell victim to All For One, and All Might was left without the chance to communicate with her again, as she served not just as his teacher but also as a maternal figure.

Rather than just engaging them in combat, he often showed a willingness to listen to their stories, empathize with their struggles, and even attempt to guide them towards redemption. This was evident in his interactions with formidable adversaries such as Gentle Criminal, Himiko Toga, or Tomura Shigaraki themselves. However, this didn’t necessarily mean he would forgive them outright, but he believed understanding their personal narratives and motivations was essential.
