Summary
- Use the new aging setting in inZOI to disable aging for player Zois, making it easy to control.
- Players can also stop aging for Zois in the world to prevent mismatches in relationships.
- Lengthen the day in inZOI to slow down the aging process and spend more time with Zois at the current age.
In the game inZOI, the rapid aging of characters has been a persistent issue, as numerous players have expressed concern that their Zois are growing old too quickly. Since the progression of age in inZOI restricts certain professions or activities, this is a significant problem that has affected many players since the game’s initial release in early access. This issue has led to pacing problems and deprived some players of opportunities without any means of reversing their choices.
It’s great news now because after the latest update from inZOI, players have the freedom to decide whether or not their characters age! With a single toggle, you can control when your Zoi starts aging. The procedure is straightforward, but since there are many other options available, it might be overlooked.
How To Stop Aging In InZOI
In the game inZOI, players must slow down aging by clicking the ‘Pause’ button first, then opening the ‘Settings’ or ‘Options’ menu. Once open, they should look for the “Simulation” tab on the left side of the screen. This tab contains settings that influence how Zois behave and age within the game world, as well as controlling the length of a day.

To maintain control over the aging of your character’s Zois, navigate to the “Aging (My Zois)” setting and change it from ‘Enabled’ to ‘Disabled’. If you decide later that you want your Zois to age again, simply switch it back to ‘Enabled’.
In the game inZOI, there might be numerous intricate aspects such as karma and tidiness, however, the developers have simplified the process of managing aging in a way that it becomes quite straightforward.
How To Stop Other Zois From Aging In InZOI
Players aren’t limited to only halting the aging of their own Zois; they can also disable aging for all other Zois worldwide through INZOI. To accomplish this, simply re-enter the Settings or Options menu once more.

Go back to the “Simulation” section again. Beneath the options to pause or activate aging for a specific player’s character Zois, there is an option that pauses aging for all Zois across the entire game world. By default, this feature is “Activated“, which means that Zois in the game will age based on the standard aging rate within the game.
In the game “inZOI,” if you change the status to “Non-Aging,” the Zoi characters in the world will no longer grow older. This feature might be beneficial for players who wish to have their Zoi engage in a romantic relationship with another Zoi, but are concerned that the age difference could become an issue due to the fast pace of romance within the game. To avoid complications arising from a discrepancy between aging and non-aging Zois, this option is provided.
Remember that activating this feature could lead to players encountering situations where the population either grows rapidly (a population boom) or remains stable (static population). Since Zois no longer die of old age, they might have many offspring. However, because their children can’t age, the world may eventually develop a static or even decreasing population as Zois die from other causes.
It’s a setting to use with caution, at the very least.
How To Slow Aging In InZOI
While some individuals might not wish for an immediate halt to aging, they could be seeking ways to prolong their years at their present age, spending more time with their Zois in the process. In this case, there are options available as well.
Go back to the Menu Options, and then select the “Simulation” tab again. Locate the “Day Length” setting. By default, a full day in inZOI is 96 minutes long. However, players can change it to either a four-hour day or a 24-hour day.

As a gamer, I’ve discovered that if I opt for four hours, it translates into a full day within the game world of inZOI. On the other hand, when I select 24 hours, it reflects real-life hours for a day to pass. Extending the day length enables me to engage more with my Zois, allowing them to perform more activities before they reach maturity and move on.
In case you prefer not to have your game characters’ Zoises age up automatically in the game inZOI, simply switching this feature off can be easily done by toggling a switch.
