On April 8th, Blizzard revealed that the update for World of Warcraft called Patch 11.1.5, titled Nightfall, will become active on Tuesday, April 22nd, after a spell of server upkeep. The upcoming Nightfall update in World of Warcraft brings modifications to the Hallowfall zone as the conflict between Arathi and Sureki escalates, offering multiple events throughout the following weeks to keep players engaged.

11.1.5 Patch is named after its star feature – the enhanced Nightfall campaign, which offers players an extra method for acquiring fresh gear. This new equipment can be earned by supporting the Flame’s Radiance faction in their defense of Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet against the Sureki, a rebellious group of Nerubians that were loyal to Queen Ansurek, one of the main adversaries from the initial act of “The War Within“. Furthermore, a new cooldown management interface option has been introduced, allowing players to monitor their abilities and spells more effectively without relying on additional add-ons. Lastly, the Winds of Mysterious Fortune event will commence on April 22 and run until May 20, offering players a speedy leveling opportunity.

Approximately a month after initially unveiling the features of the Nightfall update, Blizzard has announced that some aspects of Patch 11.1.5 will be rolled out gradually. The Nightfall update is set to commence on April 22. About a month later, on May 20, the Horrific Visions Revisited event is scheduled to begin. This returning feature from the Battle For Azeroth expansion enables one to five players to explore altered, corrupted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar that have been tainted by the Old God N’Zoth during the expansion. Although these Horrific Visions are illusions, they provide a platform for World of Warcraft players to acquire gear up to Heroic raid level.

Starting from June 3rd until July 15th, I’m eagerly anticipating a thrilling new PVE challenge titled “Dastardly Duos” in World of Warcraft. This event will put us players face-to-face with some formidable past dungeon and raid bosses. As the name suggests, multiple bosses can engage in combat simultaneously, introducing an exciting twist to the usual encounters. Additionally, Patch 11.1.5 brings several user-friendly updates, such as the ability to customize the colors of item quality based on their rarity, providing a personalized touch for our gaming experience.

In the 2025 plan for World of Warcraft, Patch 11.1.5 marks the initial spring release, followed by Patch 11.1.7 later on. The future holds excitement as we await player reactions to the upcoming Nightfall update.
