This means that they could introduce our beloved Superman, or a good Superman from another part of the multiverse, joining forces to combat the Regime Superman. This way, Superman fans like me can finally get to play as him while keeping his classic, heroic persona intact.

There Are Enough Evil Supermen Even Before Injustice 3

It’s becoming clear that the ‘evil Superman’ theme is dominating pop culture too much, with characters like Omni-Man from Invincible and Homelander from The Boys being prominent examples. This trend is further reinforced by DC’s recent works such as Injustice and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which portray Superman as an antagonist. It seems that evil Superman-like characters are overshadowing the original at this point in mainstream media. Consequently, a ‘good’ Superman in Injustice 3 could provide a refreshing change, and both Regime Superman and the original could have significant roles in the storyline.

Although Regime Superman and his rule might shape the storyline, he shouldn’t merely be another malevolent version of Superman. With recent years showing less representation of the original Superman, it’s high time for him to make a significant return, and Injustice could provide that platform. It seems beneficial for Injustice 3 to incorporate two Supermen in their roster to maintain balance and offer players an interesting choice between the original hero and his alternate persona.
