SteamDB charts indicate a substantial drop between April 6 and 7, losing approximately 9,000 players at its peak over those two days. The peak for April 9 dropped below 13,000, marking a significant decrease of over half within just three days. According to TheGamer, the current daily peak numbers represent an 85% drop-off over a 12-day period.

InZOI is Losing Players Fast

After a game’s debut, it’s normal to see some player attrition, but TheGamer’s analysis of 12 well-known Steam games over a six-week span revealed that only Palworld showed a higher percentage of players leaving, even though it had been out for three times as long. Conversely, Marvel Rivals saw only a minor 3% drop in players during its initial six weeks, although this is an unusual exception since the average game on the list, Diablo 4, experienced a 53% decrease in players within the same period.

Among several possibilities, one plausible explanation for the rapid pause by players in the life simulator “InZOI” might be due to insufficient current content offerings. A perusal of its critical reviews uncovers sentiments from certain gamers that they are reaching limits on activities within the game. However, its ardent supporters have pointed out that the game has just debuted in early access, and the developers have outlined ambitious plans to release additional content after a temporary production hiatus, as they work diligently over the ensuing months.
