In a brand new Max Battle Weekend, beginning on April 26th, Pokemon GO will introduce Dynamax Entei. This marks the third Dynamax Pokemon from Johto to be included in Pokemon GO, and it’s also the fourth legendary creature to make its debut in 2025.

As a gamer, I hopped into Pokemon GO on January 27th, where they unleashed Dynamax Articuno during the Legendary Flight event. The same day also saw the arrival of Dynamax Zapdos, and on February 3rd, it was Dynamax Moltres’ turn to join the action. Then, on March 15th, a new Max Battle Weekend rolled in, and Dynamax Raikou made its Pokemon GO debut! For April, the developers have teased another Dynamax debut, giving trainers a chance to encounter one of the mightiest Gen 2 creatures.

The popular game Pokemon GO is set to introduce Dynamax Entei during its Max Battle Weekend starting this coming Saturday, April 26th at 6 am and concluding on Sunday, April 27th at 9 pm local time. During this weekend event, the legendary Pokemon will be encountered in five-star Max Battles with a possibility of encountering a shiny version. Players can collect up to 1,600 Max Particles during this period and only need a quarter of the usual adventure distance to earn particles. Additionally, Power Spots will refresh more frequently and reward eight times as many Max Particles.

Preparing for Max Battle Weekend from April 21st (6 am local time) to April 27th (9 pm local time), you’ll need three-quarters of the usual amount of particles to activate and enhance Max Moves. A fresh Timed Research will become available as of April 21st, 6 am local time for free collection. By finishing this research, players can expect to meet Dynamax Sobble, gain Sobble Candy, Max Particles, and additional rewards. Keep in mind the deadline; all Timed Research tasks must be finished and rewards claimed by April 27th (9 pm local time). To enhance your gameplay, the Pokemon GO Web Store will offer a $9.99 Ultra Box containing one Max Mushroom and seven Max Particle Packs.

In April, players of Pokemon GO can look forward to exciting new experiences with the introduction of the Tinkatink line, a fresh evolutionary branch, from April 16 to 22.
