In the anime from the 2000s and 2010s, many extra episodes were included to allow the manga more time to progress. As a result, it’s not surprising that some fight scenes are prolonged. Nevertheless, there are several battles in the anime that truly warrant the length of time they receive.

As the battle commenced, I couldn’t help but hold my breath as Naruto burst onto the scene with Sage mode activated, ready to take on the devastating villain who had left a trail of destruction in his wake. The village that once nurtured him was now in ruins, and it was up to Naruto to avenge the fallen and restore peace.

As the battle unfolds, it becomes increasingly apparent that Pain is overwhelming Naruto, reinforcing his divine-like image to the audience. When things appear hopeless and the Nine-Tails is on the brink of completely overtaking Naruto, the situation takes an unexpected turn. A remarkable event transpires, restoring balance to the world again.

8. Kabuto Vs. The Uchiha Siblings

Mangekyo Sharingans Against The Snake Sage

The Fourth Shinobi War in Naruto was both a satisfying and frustrating arc. On one side, it was rewarding to witness underappreciated characters get their moment in the spotlight. However, from another perspective, it could be tedious for viewers as it appeared that the main plot was being sidelined with episodes that seemed more like filler content.

In some less crucial episodes, one particularly exciting fight stood out: the battle between Kabuto, once he attained Sage Mode, and the Uchiha siblings, Sasuke and the resurrected Itachi. The twin Mangekyo Sharingan wielders aren’t to be underestimated, but Kabuto’s abilities as a Senjutsu user were equally awe-inspiring.

7. Kakuzu & Hidan Vs. Team 10 & 7

Witnessing yet again the brilliance of Shikamaru was a treat for spectators, as his cunning mind shone bright in the heat of battle. With the collective strength of Team 7 – myself included along with Naruto and Kakashi – we were able to vanquish one of Akatsuki’s formidable teams, showcasing our strategic prowess.

6. Sasuke Vs. Naruto (Valley of End)

The first significant battle between Sasuke and Naruto took place towards the conclusion of the Sasuke Recovery mission. Yet, as every great event does, it eventually drew to a close. In the end, Sasuke narrowly defeated Naruto, demonstrating a desire to distinguish himself from his brother by sparing him instead of dealing a fatal blow.
