This new addition to Nintendo Switch Online is a side-scrolling beat ’em up where you take on the role of former police officers, battling against a crime syndicate that’s taken over the fictional city of Wood Oak.
In 1990, another side-scrolling platform game titled “ESWAT: City Under Siege” was launched. Based on a well-known arcade game of that era, this game introduced fresh levels and weapons into the mix. Players assume the role of a police officer tasked with maintaining law and order. Although it shares some similarities in terms of style and setting, the recently added game to Nintendo Switch’s online library provides a unique gaming experience compared to “Streets of Rage.
