The animation series “My Hero Academia” is a shonen genre show brimming with exhilarating combat sequences and heartwarming, comical scenes. Audience members form strong connections with fresh and familiar heroes who risk everything to prevent wicked villains from causing destruction not only in Japan but globally.
Just as one might anticipate, the show doesn’t hesitate to portray instances where individuals or entire groups are subjected to embarrassment through words or actions at times. These instances can be therapeutic in some cases, but they can also be distressing since the main characters often endure these humiliations.
8. Mineta Is Schooled Repeatedly For His Perveted Antics
Fans Love Watching The Show’s Most Hated Character Get Humiliated

- Happens In: Multiple arcs
In the anime “My Hero Academia,” Mineta is often met with intense dislike from viewers. His ordinary power doesn’t exactly shine brightly, but it’s his lewd behavior that really sets fans off. This character seems to find himself in trouble due to his inappropriate actions on multiple occasions.
It’s satisfying to witness Mineta receiving his due when he is criticized and mistreated by the female characters in the series for his inappropriate behaviors. One might expect him to grasp a significant lesson following repeated punishment, such as being slapped one hundred times, but it seems his perverted actions continue unabated.
7. All Might Is Reminded Of His Duty As A Hero By A Quirkless Midoriya
He Refuses To Have Second Thoughts About Saving People Ever Again

- Happens In: Entrance Exam Arc
In my perspective, I once observed a man, Midoriya, living an ordinary life, devoid of extraordinary abilities – a typical civilian. Yet, fate had other plans for him. Two fortuitous meetings with All Might turned the tide. The second encounter, in particular, revealed an extraordinary trait within him: courage, even when he lacked any powers.
After the Malevolent Muddy Menace causes havoc and seizes Bakugo, All Might hesitates to intervene due to his fading abilities. Yet, Midoriya, seeing his friend in peril, acts swiftly without hesitation to save him. This selfless act serves as a jolt for All Might, prompting him to take action and rescue the day. It is this decisive moment that solidifies Midoriya’s position as the chosen successor of One for All in the eyes of the top hero, All Might.
6. All Might Shows An Advanced Nomu Who’s Boss
Showed Up The Entire League Of Villains

- Happens In: U.S.J. Arc
On my exciting journey to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint Facility, I had high hopes for polishing my skills as a member of Class 1-A. But then, out of nowhere, the League of Villains made a shocking entrance! They unleashed an incredibly powerful Nomu who gave All Might quite a push back, but our fearless leader wasn’t about to give up and accept defeat.
Instead, he amplified the intensity by pouring out more than double his usual strength into each blow, breaking through Nomu’s shock-absorbing ability and propelling him away. This electrifying scene in the initial stages of My Hero Academia was a hit among fans.
5. Bakugo And Todoroki Fail The Provisional Hero License Exam
Couldn’t Get Over Themselves And Failed The Basic Hero Task Of Saving Civilians

- Happens In: Provisional Hero License Exam Arc
Bakugo and Todoroki were destined to become two exceptionally talented future heroes, but their individual disputes hindered this during the Temporary Hero License Exam. Bakugo was too preoccupied with his own personality traits, while Todoroki was entangled in a rivalry with another rising hero, Inasa Yoarashi.
Consequently, neither hero was able to accomplish their heroic mission of rescuing civilians and, as a result, they both fell short of obtaining their Hero License. For a time, this left them out of the action during the arc, allowing their fellow students to engage with Endeavor. However, they eventually managed to pass a unique examination held at a later date.
4. Mirio Schooling All Of Class 1-A
Humiliates An Entire Group Of Heroes And Shows How Far Behind They Are

- Happens In: Shie Hassaikai Arc
Mirio stands out as one of the exceptionally talented students at U.A., largely due to a unique ability called Permeation Quirk that allows him to effortlessly move through any object. Impressing his fellow Class 1-A with a display of his formidable powers, he swiftly outmatched them all in combat, securing quick victories against everyone involved.
Though his choice to display his abilities while completely bare seemed debatable, there’s no arguing that Class 1-A learned a significant lesson in humility when they were outmatched by just one hero. This unexpected defeat served as a powerful reminder for everyone to redouble their efforts and strive for greater strength than ever before.
3. Overhaul Gets A Taste Of His Own Medicine From Midoriya
With Eri’s Help, Midoriya Unleashed A Beatdown For The Ages

- Happens In: Shie Hassaikai Arc
In “My Hero Academia,” Overhaul stands out as one of the wickedest villains. Watching him mistreat a young child really irritated Midoriya and Mirio. Even though Mirio had lost his powers, he managed to hold his own in the fight. However, it was Midoriya’s actions that ultimately defeated Overhaul for good.
Eri’s ability called Rewind Quirk enabled Midoriya to utilize One for All at full strength without any harm to his own body, resulting in an incredibly satisfying defeat of Overhaul. Overhaul was left utterly defeated following this encounter, and to make matters worse, the League of Villains stripped him of his own ability later on.
2. Gigantomachia Schools The Pro Heroes And Obliterates Numerous Cities
He Annihilated The Love Civilians Had For Pro Heroes In An Instant

- Happens In: Paranormal Liberation War Arc
In the grand scheme, I find myself observing a titanic figure – Gigantomachia – who stands unwaveringly devoted to One for All. This devotion transforms him into an indispensable pillar during the Paranormal Liberation War. A force of devastation, he relentlessly plows through Japan’s significant cities, leaving naught but ruins in his wake after effortlessly vanquishing any heroes daring enough to challenge him.
The devastating consequences of his rampage led to a significant loss of faith among civilians towards the Pro Heroes, causing the series to adopt a more somber atmosphere. It will require a substantial triumph by the Hero Association to restore public trust following this embarrassment.
1. All For One Is Knocked Out By A De-Powered All Might
A Resounding United States Of Smash Ensures That All For One Is Captured After All Might’s Final Hurrah

- Happens In: Hideout Raid Arc
Since the dawn of time, One For All has been a formidable adversary to All Might, and it appeared as though their ultimate clash would result in victory for the former. However, he overlooked All Might’s determination and fortitude, evident even when the powers of One For All were waning within him.
Even though All Might had been weakened, he didn’t back down and instead used a clever feint to strike One for All with a strong United States of Smash. It was one of the most powerful punches in the series, leaving One for All humiliated after managing to turn defeat into victory at the last moment.
