The images display side-by-side comparisons, providing a glimpse into how significantly the game might change. Additionally, leaked information hints at an upcoming Deluxe Edition for sale.
The anticipated release of the game by Bethesda and Virtuous is expected to occur next week, beyond April 21st. This prediction was recently validated by Jeff Grubb, who claims to have received information from multiple sources indicating that the Oblivion Remastered launch is imminent.
Oblivion Remastered, Not Remade
Initially appearing on Resetera, keen-eyed gamers caught their first peek at Oblivion Remastered through some images. These pictures originated from a Virtuous website, which also hinted that the remastering project has been secretly underway as a joint effort between Virtuous, Bethesda Dallas, and Bethesda Rockville.
The article also mentioned that Oblivion Remastered is scheduled for launch on PC, Xbox, and surprisingly, PlayStation 5. Previous speculation had suggested that it would be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

The reboot of Oblivion, known as “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered,” is indeed happening! This fact has been officially announced.
Furthermore, it seems that the game will be available for PlayStation 5 users, as suggested on the Virtuos website.
