With the appearance of God’s Knights, Loki, and even Shamrock, the long-lost brother of Shanks, it’s like a dream come true for us fans. The convergence of these legendary One Piece characters with our beloved Straw Hat pirates has truly added a new dimension to the storyline.

Unfortunately for God’s Knights, Loki declines their proposal, opting instead for death. However, God’s Knights have a secret plan; they aim to kidnap the children before they fully conquer the island. Additionally, the prospect of Loki being released is a major concern, leading figures like Luffy, Zoro, and giants such as Hajrudin to keep a close eye on him.

In a critical predicament, Elbaf finds itself grappling with multiple crises: Loki about to be liberated only to meet his demise, wandering children under hypnosis, their nightmares manifesting, and the imminent transformation of Elbaf into a raging fire.

Elbaf, an island teeming with forests and boasting a towering tree laden with treasure, is a colossal landmass ideally suited for giants. The presence of this treasure tree, however, makes Elbaf resistant to both lightning and flames. The tree’s aged, brittle branches make fires extremely hard to extinguish, often necessitating their removal at the trunk to halt the blaze. Loki sparked a fire on Elbaf with the intention of compelling Luffy and Hajrudin to fully release him and retreat; but Luffy was prepared for a confrontation, causing Loki to faint. However, the fire Loki ignited persisted, and as the children’s nightmares escalate, the conflagration continues to spread.

More Chaos Ensues

Jinbe Remains The Strongest Straw Hat On the Scene

Starting from chapter 1142, Gunko and the other God Knights began executing their plan to kidnap the children. However, Colon was absent among the schoolchildren at that time, thus escaping capture. In the final panel of chapter 1145, we see Gunko encountering some members of the Straw Hat Pirates for the first time. Notably, Gunko seems interested in Colon, while the Straw Hats are not typically recognized for their combat skills. Among them, only Jinbe and perhaps to some extent, Usopp, Nami, and Brook may pose a challenge to Gunko. However, Jinbe’s formidable bounty of 1.1 billion berries suggests he could potentially give her trouble, given his proven abilities.

It’s intriguing to observe the unfolding events since Colon, who is the son of a past pirate king’s right-hand man and a warrior from Elbaf’s final generation, has a life that is quite precious. Here’s hoping Jinbe can provide a protective barrier when needed.

However, extinguishing fires that are rampant and spreading across a treasure tree isn’t as simple as it sounds, and this is the case with the blaze Adam is facing. Despite their valiant attempts, the flames seem uncontainable, and they threaten to overpower the hypnotized giant children. Fortunately, amidst the chaos that is sweeping through the island, Jinbe swiftly intervenes. Using a sea cloud current shoulder throw, he extinguishes the fire that was about to consume the children, offering a momentary relief. While each of the Straw Hats excels in different areas, it’s Jinbe who specializes in quelling fires that could potentially destroy Elbaf.

In simpler terms, Elbaf’s present danger stems from a combination of power plays, natural calamities, and the misuse of children’s nightmares. This complex issue can’t be resolved solely through physical force. Given this situation, although Jinbe isn’t the strongest Straw Hat, he is currently indispensable due to his unique ability to combat the ethical and symbolic blazes that are endangering Elbaf. While Luffy, Zoro, and Hajrudin grapple with Loki’s deceit, Jinbe remains best suited to handle the crisis in Elbaf.
