Earlier updates from Fisch mainly focused on refreshing the familiar world you were accustomed to, whether it was new islands, fish species, fishing rods, or even bestiaries. However, the Second Sea update elevates the experience significantly by introducing a whole new layer of reality. This parallel universe coexists with the original one but offers its own unique resources, islands, and incentives.
In simpler terms, you’re embarking on a journey to uncharted islands, catching unfamiliar species of fish, and using a different type of currency as your old ones won’t be valid here. However, your fishing rods will still function, but their effectiveness may not be as strong. Key aspects such as Angler Quests, Shipwrights, and Merchants remain consistent. For those who are curious, this guide explains all the new content introduced in the Fisch Second Sea update.
How To Complete The Second Sea Update In Fisch
Here’s how you can finish the whole Second Sea update:
The Cthulu Boss Fight
Initially, it’s crucial to journey to Terrapin Island and vanquish the Cthulu Boss in order to access the Second Sea within Fisch. Remember, this confrontation will only occur if your character level is 200 or greater, so ensure you reach that level before setting out. Upon satisfying the prerequisite, converse with the Sea Traveler on Terrapin Island, then locate Silas near the grand gate, and he’ll facilitate your battle entry. After overcoming Cthulu, his chamber will yield access to the Second Sea directly. Once unveiled, you can also utilize the Sea Traveler for swift teleportation whenever needed.
Eight New Bestiaries
In the Second Ocean, you’ll find seven breathtaking islands scattered across the vast expanse of open water – quite similar to the arrangement in the First Sea. To add to that, there are eight Bestiaries to conquer in this area. Completing each Bestiary awards you with 2,000 EXP and 2,000 Embercoins (the Second Sea’s currency). Here’s a brief overview of all the Bestiaries and the number of fish you need to catch for each one:
* Bestiary A requires catching 50 fish.
* Bestiary B requires catching 75 fish.
* Bestiary C requires catching 100 fish.
* Bestiary D requires catching 125 fish.
* Bestiary E requires catching 150 fish.
* Bestiary F requires catching 175 fish.
* Bestiary G requires catching 200 fish.
* Bestiary H requires catching 225 fish.
