However, they allegedly departed from “Street Fighter” due to clashes in their schedules with their forthcoming film, “Bring Her Back.” Later on, Kitao Sakurai stepped in as director, recognized for helming Eric Andre’s comedy “Bad Trip” and several episodes of the “Twisted Metal” series on Peacock. As for the script, it’s been reported that Dalan Musson, who co-wrote “Captain America: Brave New World,” has penned the current draft; however, no specific plot details have been disclosed yet.

According to Nexus Point News, it appears that the upcoming “Street Fighter” movie is moving into the casting phase, with Andrew Koji being considered for Ryu and Noah Centineo potentially taking on Ken’s role. Previously, there have been two movies based on the popular video game “Street Fighter” released in cinemas. The first, titled “Street Fighter,” came out in 1994 and featured Jean-Claude Van Damme, Ming-Na Wen, and Raul Julia, with the latter playing M. Bison in his final role.
