- Eevee plush pre-orders start April 24 in Japan, available at Pokemon Centers and on Amazon Japan.
- Despite no new Eeveelutions, The Pokemon Company continues to celebrate Eevee’s popularity with new merchandise.
The Pokemon Company has unveiled a new life-sized plush toy of the popular character Eevee, set to join its collection. Like other characters such as Slowpoke, Porygon, and Gardevoir, Eevee is now part of the select group gracing the exclusive Pokemon plush line.
Ever since its debut in Generation 1 of the Pokémon series, Eevee hasn’t lost its charm. Its versatility, with the ability to evolve into multiple elemental types, and the adorable designs for each form keep fans enamored, while many other Pokémon seem to recede into obscurity within the vast collection of over 1000 creatures.
Currently, Eevee is being added to the realistic Pokemon plush toy line-up, and it’s really adorable! The design shows Eevee lying down on its stomach with an upward gaze. Although the specific dimensions of the plush haven’t been disclosed yet, since Eevee stands around a foot tall in the Pokedex, fans can anticipate it being roughly that size.
As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the long-awaited Eevee plush toy is finally making its way to Pokemon Centers in Japan on the 26th of April! Pre-orders for this adorable companion start as early as the 24th. On the same day, it will also be available for pre-order on Amazon Japan, with the official sale kicking off on May 3rd.
However, be warned, fellow trainers, supplies might be limited, and the entire stock could be snapped up during pre-orders. The price? A reasonable 3850 yen, approximately $27 USD, considering some of the life-sized official Pokemon plushies like Gardevoir ($319), Porygon ($390), and Psyduck ($288). So, grab ’em while you can!
Pokemon Doesn’t Stop Celebrating Eevee
Despite fan complaints about the absence of fresh Eeveelutions in recent series installments, it appears that the franchise remains deeply connected with Eevee itself. Interestingly, Pokemon Center stock of Eeveelution Bear Walker skateboards depleted rapidly just before this Eevee plush toy hit the shelves, indicating that The Pokemon Company recognizes Eevee’s enduring popularity, despite not yet giving in to fans’ calls for a new evolutionary form.
Throughout the years, a multitude of Eevee stuffed toys have hit the market, such as the Build-a-Bear Eevee, the second Pokemon to be introduced in that line after Pikachu. It wasn’t until six years later that all Eeveelutions received their own Build-a-Bear versions, with Sylveon being the last one released in 2022. Additionally, the high demand for Eevee resulted in the production of an Eevee Squishmallow, which was launched in 2024.
