How To Explore Bloodblight Swamp In RuneScape: Dragonwilds

In the game RuneScape: Dragonwilds, wandering around Ashenfall allows you to roam freely within Bloodblight Swamp, but beware! The entire region is toxic and continuously harms players unless they’ve taken precautions. As you near the swamp’s entrance, a thick green fog hovering over the area becomes evident – this is the harmful poison you should steer clear of.

In the game RuneScape: Dragonwilds, at some stage, players are compelled to delve into the Bloodblight Swamp in search of an essential material necessary for moving forward with the main storyline. Since the poison mist swiftly drains health and can be lethal, they must discover a safe method to traverse the area.

How To Explore Bloodblight Swamp In RuneScape: Dragonwilds

To safely traverse the Bloodblight Swamp, players should first prepare an Antipoison Potion. This swampland lies northeast of Bramblemead Valley. To get there, you’ll need to pass through the Whispering Swamp and parts of the Fractured Plains. Be cautious as these areas are teeming with hostile creatures. Thorough exploration, gathering necessary materials, and crafting stronger gear are essential before venturing deep into either area.

Upon reaching the edge of the Bloodblight Swamp, consider setting up a Lodestone in RuneScape: Dragonwilds for easy travel and then return quickly to camp to gear up before venturing into the swamp. To brew the Antipoison Potion, gather these essential items as ingredients:

  • Harralander x1: A light green plant found scattered around the Whispering Swamp.
  • Bittercap Mushroom x1: A small red mushroom also located in the Whispering Swamp. A lot can be gathered from a cave located northwest of the area and another located southwest.
  • Clay Vessel x1: Collect Clay by destroying Clay rocks in the swamp and then use a Pottery Wheel to make a vessel. Harden it using another structure in RuneScape: Dragonwilds called Kiln.

Gather an adequate amount of the previously mentioned items, since multiple ones are required. Then, construct the Brewing Cauldron by combining these materials. To activate the cauldron, prepare some charcoal by burning wood in the Kiln beforehand. This charcoal is essential for using the cauldron to brew the Antipoison Potion.

Once you’ve brewed as many antidotes as possible, return to the Bloodblight Swamp. Before venturing in, consume the potion for 300 seconds of protection against poison. As you traverse the swamp, remember to monitor the duration displayed at the bottom-left corner of your screen. Drink another potion when the current effect is nearly over to maintain the resistance.
