Summary
- Holy Knights in Elbaf have overpowered Devil Fruits.
- The captain, Shamrock, is Yonko Level, matching legendary figures.
- Gunko, a member, displayed regeneration powers, making Holy Knights dangerous.
The Elbaf arc from One Piece has been generating a lot of anticipation among fans, as intense conflicts are being set up within the Giants’ homeland. At present, the Holy Knights are in Elbaf with an aim to subdue it and convert its inhabitants into a mercenary force for the World Government during future wars.
Indeed, Oda has meticulously planned thrilling battles for this storyline, leaving fans on tenterhooks as they anticipate the unfolding events. Moreover, the forthcoming fights promise to be nothing short of spectacular given that Oda seems to have hinted at monsters of Yonko caliber in this arc itself, thereby adding an extra layer of excitement.
Oda Shows The True Strength Of The Holy Knights
- The Holy Knights Have Overpowered Devil Fruits
- The Holy Knights Have The Power Of Regeneration
Since the debut of the Holy Knights, there’s always been curiosity about just how powerful they really are. Oda intentionally kept their strength under wraps in the initial stages of Elbaf, but with the main battles now being established, fans are experiencing some thrilling action from this esteemed group. It can be confidently asserted that the Holy Knights are incredibly strong at this juncture.
Regarding Shamrock Figarland, the captain of the Holy Knights, fans are convinced that Eiichiro Oda will never portray him as weaker than the legendary characters in the One Piece universe. As Shanks’ older brother and a formidable figure in his own right, it’s clear that he operates on the level of Yonko. In fact, he even belittled Loki and was confident of his superior strength, which undoubtedly places him among the ranks of the Yonko.
In the latest chapter of “One Piece”, we got a glimpse of Gunko, Sommers, and Killingham, who seem to be formidable characters, though not as powerful as their captain, Shamrock Figarland, according to him. Interestingly, Shamrock mentioned that Gunko has the potential to overpower Loki, and his recent performance was nothing short of spectacular. In chapter 1146, we saw Gunko engaged in a fierce battle against half of a Yonko crew, led by Jinbe and comprising of Usopp, Nami, and Brook. Despite being outnumbered and facing an adversary with a staggering wealth equivalent to 1.1 billion berries, Gunko effortlessly defeated them all in combat. To give you an idea, Gunko was battling pirates whose combined bounty amounts to a whopping 2.349 billion berries, making his victory even more impressive.
It appears he effortlessly outmaneuvered them, not giving his full strength, which makes it seem more plausible that Gunko could best Loki.
Gunko’s Regeneration Powers Are Revealed

Without a doubt, chapter 1146 of One Piece made it clear to readers that Gunko also has the ability to regenerate. Since all Holy Knights bear the power of the Abyss, it’s reasonable to assume that this power includes regeneration, which was bestowed upon them by Imu. This only serves to heighten their danger as they are extremely difficult for most opponents to defeat in battle.
Are The Holy Knights Yonko Level?
The Holy Knights Likely Have Varying Power Levels, With Yonko Level Fighters
The exact strength of each Holy Knight isn’t yet known, but the three we’ve encountered appear to be extraordinarily powerful. Shamrock seems to be on Yonko level, while there’s a strong argument for Gunko being at that tier too, given her regenerative abilities and recent actions in One Piece. As for Sommers and Killingham, they’ve shown promise so far, easily handling their opponents, but we need more insight into their full range of powers to confirm this.
It’s quite likely that they’ll outrank the Admirals too. Patience is key here, as Oda has a knack for revealing characters’ true potential. One thing we can confidently say is that the Holy Knights are no pushovers; they’re formidable indeed. Overcoming them will require the Straw Hat Pirates at their peak, and Luffy, Loki, Zoro, and Sanji are certain to play significant roles in this battle.
One Piece’s next chapter, number 1146, is coming up soon this week, and it will be published on Sunday as per the usual schedule.
