Top 8 Fire Force Pillars: Strengths Unveiled

Summary

  • Pillars are powerful Pyrokinetics with Adola Burst, central to Evangelist’s plan, like Iris, Inca, Nataku.
  • Each Pillar in Fire Force has unique abilities, such as Inca’s flame pathway control or Sumire’s kinetic energy from vibrations.
  • Shinra, the Fourth Pillar, leads the story with his rage powers, while sinister forces like Haumea and Amaterasu pose threats.

The animated series titled “Fire Force” has debuted its third season, carrying forward the narrative of Shinra and his endeavor to safeguard the world from the malevolent Evangelist, intent on igniting and rebuilding it. Accompanied by his comrades in Fire Force Company 8, Shinra confronts formidable Infernals and Pyrokinetics to shield ordinary citizens’ lives. Shinra finds himself ensnared in a devious scheme as influential figures strive to amass an extraordinary group of Pyrokinetics known as the “Pillars”.

These Pillars appear crucial for achieving the Evangelist’s objectives, and it falls upon Shinra and his companions to prevent their activation. These Pillars possess Pyrokinetic abilities with an Adola Burst, making them superior to ordinary pyrotechnics. Notably, there are eight Pillars in total, each one distinctively unique from the others. Here is a list of the most powerful Pillars in Fire Force, arranged in order.

8. Iris

The Fifth Pillar Of Destruction

Iris belongs to Fire Force Company Number 8. She assumes the role of a nun, guiding the tranquil departures of Infernals, which her team and any others nearby eliminate. Known for her compassionate and cheerful disposition, some might describe her as openly expressing her feelings.

At first, Iris didn’t exhibit any signs of Pyrokinetic skills. However, following Dragon’s victory over a massive Infernal creature, Iris protected her companions by setting up a robust protective shield around them. Given that Iris’s powers mainly revolve around defense, she is not typically equipped for combat situations.

7. Inca

The Eighth Pillar of Despair

Inca, a character from Fire Force, was one of the last pillars to be activated. While she led a normal life as a high school student, she found herself under attack by both Fire Force companies and the Temple of Sol. Initially trying to avoid getting involved, Inca became hooked on the thrill of dangerous encounters. To satisfy her craving for excitement, she decided to join the White Clad faction.

With her unique gift, the Inca can discern the routes that fires may travel, light up these pathways, and amplify their intensity. By utilizing this talent, she can magnify the flames’ power and direct their course, thereby becoming an invaluable asset to the Evangelist.

6. Nataku

The Sixth Pillar Of Fear

Nataku is identified as the youngest among the eight Pillars to gain his abilities, which transpired following an involuntary bite from a firebug inflicted by Rekka Hoshimiya under forceful circumstances. Behind closed doors, Nataku was seized by Hajima Industries and subjected to various tests until he succumbed to the overwhelming stress, eventually leading him to unleash chaos across Tokyo during a dispute between the Evagelist and Fire Force units.

Nataku is known as the Pillar of Fear, and he possesses the power to mold and control fiery flames. His Adola Burst unleashes potent fire symbols that emit intense radiation beams. The destructive potential of his fire, capable of leveling an entire city and proving lethal in close quarters, places him among the most perilous Pillars within the world of Fire Force.

5. Sumire

The Seventh Pillar Of Disgust

Sumire, being one of the most ancient Pillars, has been devoted to the Evangelist for more than two centuries. Sumire chose to side with the Temple of Sol to assist them in their mission to annihilate humanity and rekindle evolution. Throughout her life, she has tirelessly worked towards gathering all the Pillars after losing compassion for mankind.

With her unique skills, Sumire is able to produce strong vibrations by shuddering, which in turn produces heat. She subsequently converts this heat into flames, and then changes that energy into kinetic force. This allows her to create potent shockwaves and earthquakes, capable of causing widespread damage across the city of Tokyo.

4. Sho

The Third Pillar Of Apathy

Among the Kusakabe brothers, it is Sho who found himself in a perilous situation. His mother, due to an unfortunate event, transformed into a being from the netherworld and came dangerously close to annihilating them both. This predicament was instigated by Sho’s activation of his Adola Burst and his brother’s fire powers simultaneously. In what appeared to be their demise, Sho was secretly taken away by the Evangelist for covert training instead.

In Fire Force season one, I came across a character who resurfaced, later identified as the Third Pillar of Apathy. This fellow, Sho, possesses extraordinary abilities that caught my attention. His powers permit him to diminish heat from the cosmic expansion’s rate, a unique capability that leads to his time-altering prowess. In essence, he can decelerate the world around him while maintaining his own pace.

3. Haumea

The Second Pillar Of Passivity

Haumea, a significant adversary in the Fire Force series, belongs to the White Clad and holds the position of the Second Pillar of Passivity. With an air of mystery surrounding her, she seems knowledgeable about the Evangelist’s objectives, yet there are hints that she might have concealed purposes as well.

Her vibrant and lively demeanor speaks volumes about her self-reliance and hidden reserves of power and agility. As the Second Pillar, Haumea possesses a unique talent for managing electricity across various levels. Not only can she employ this ability to jolt adversaries and disrupt electrical devices, but also to manipulate the electrical signals within people’s bodies and even read their thoughts.

2. Shinra

The Fourth Pillar Of Rage

In the world of Fire Force, it’s Shinra who takes center stage as the protagonist. He is the eldest among the Kusakabe brothers and, uniquely, the sole survivor in his family at the beginning of the story. Tragically, Shinra was orphaned as a child when his mother transformed into an Infernal and set their home ablaze. However, he was miraculously rescued by Captain Leonard Burns.

Following his rescue, Shin Inferno (Shinra) aspired to be a valiant figure and swiftly joined the Fire Force when given the opportunity. Known as the Fourth Pillar of Rage, Shin’s abilities are colossal and incomprehensible; however, on a superficial level, he can generate scorching flames from his feet. In battle, he employs these pyres, utilizing them to attain flight. Moreover, he has been witnessed accelerating beyond the speed of light, traversing through time and space.

1. Amaterasu

The First Pillar Of Madness

As an ardent follower of the lore, I find myself captivated by the enigmatic presence of Amaterasu in the Adola Burst, manifesting within Shinra’s consciousness. This ethereal being is notorious for her cunning taunts, subtly guiding him towards her desires. The question remains: what are her true intentions? Whose side does she truly stand on? Despite the mystery surrounding Amaterasu, one thing is certain—she is a master of manipulation, and her hidden goals pose a grave threat to the city and mankind alike.

It’s not fully clear what Amaterasu’s full abilities are, but it’s known that she can communicate with the Pillars through an Adola Link, alter their recollections and feelings, and on one instance, she assumed control over Shinra’s body.
