Is Amado Really Shibai Otsutsuki in Disguise?

Summary

  • Amado seeks to revive his daughter in an Otsutsuki body, raising suspicions about his true motives in the series.
  • Amado’s manipulation of Kara members with Otsutsuki DNA opens up questions about his knowledge and role in a grander scheme.
  • The dissolution of Kara coinciding with the awakening of Kama users implies an orchestrated plan involving Amado and Otsutsuki threats.

Among the supporting characters in “Boruto,” Amado Sanzu has gained significant importance due to his extensive knowledge, not only about Kara’s inner workings but also about the Kama and the enigmatic Otsutsuki clan. While he claims that most of this knowledge was given by Isshiki, some fans suspect that Amado might be concealing a more secretive agenda than what he openly reveals to us.

In the latest installments of “Two Blue Vortex,” Amado discloses his ultimate plan: he intends to genuinely resurrect his daughter, who is the foundation for Delta’s appearance and memories, even in an Otsutsuki body. However, the depth of Amado’s knowledge and his readiness to control others for survival hint at a more complex character than initially perceived. Given that only Amado can validate his assertions, it’s evident there are other secrets shrouding his existence. What additional enigmas lie hidden within Amado’s being?

The Timeline Inconsistency Leaves A Gaping Plot Hole

A Precursor To An Alien Race Coincidentally In Modern Times?

Unlike the Akatsuki, the Kara organization has proven to be a significant challenge due to its members being equipped with Shinobiware, which are biological counterparts to Scientific Ninja Tools. Moreover, Amado takes great pride in noting that the exceptional abilities of the Kara’s Inner circle members stem from Otsutsuki DNA, particularly that of Shibai Otsutsuki – a figure even among the powerful Otsutsuki is regarded as a deity.

Following Amado’s elucidation, unearthing Shibai’s remains granted me the opportunity to isolate sufficient genetic matter for the transformation of Kara Inners with some of Shibai Otsutsuki’s legendary Shinjutsu. Yet, this revelation stirs up a whirlwind of intriguing queries:

I managed to get my hands on Shibai’s genetic material thanks to Amado, which he used to alter the Kara Inners with some of Shibai Otsutsuki’s powerful abilities. This development, however, brings a storm of big questions into play.

  1. Shibai Otsutsuki, who seemingly “ascended,” just happened to choose this world to leave his body?
  2. It just so happened that Amado “found” the body of this mythical being and knew how to process his genetic material?
  3. Amado managed to implant mythical powers to seemingly ordinary humans, when even Isshiki (and supposedly Amado himself) also faced considerable difficulty replicating the Kara?

For those quick-witted fans who stumbled upon these queries immediately, it’s not hard to speculate whether Amado is concealing additional information or if he’s merely a piece in a larger, intricate puzzle.

Do Things Really Happen Because Of Coincidences?

Amado Might Become A Red Herring

From a broader perspective, fans might view Kara’s disbandment as surprisingly advantageous. This is because Kara’s breakup occurred at the same time as:

  1. The awakening of three Kama users (Boruto, Kawaki, and Code),
  2. All Otsutsuki threats either becoming inactive (Momoshiki) or dead (Isshiki), and
  3. The Kara remnants still alive just so happened to be more concerned about their survival (Ada), loyal to a family figure (Daemon), and an Otsutsuki fanatic (Code)?

Despite challenges such as Momoshiki aiding Boruto at the cost of transforming him into an Otsutsuki, Kawaki joining Konoha, and Code’s creation of Human God Trees, the world in Boruto seems to be gradually transitioning under Otsutsuki control. The only unpredictable factor remains Amado, who appears to be exceptionally intelligent for a human and whose relevance lies primarily with more powerful Otsutsuki due to his expertise on Shibai.

Uncanny Survival Instincts Are No Joke

Things Oddly Worked In His Favor

In the story of “Two Blue Vortex,” it’s possible to view Amado’s survival as a result of his intelligence and trickery. He skillfully persuaded Naruto and Shikamaru to grant him sanctuary in Part 1 by sharing his extensive knowledge about Otsutsuki, which made them curious. However, it’s striking that among those who interacted with Kara and Isshiki Otsutsuki, Amado appears to be the least affected. This situation seems unusually advantageous for Amado.

Even if times change… The soul of a Shinobi remains the same.

As more is revealed about Amado, it appears he might be playing a larger role in the story than readers initially thought. Since his knowledge seems exclusive to the Otsutsuki and not common people, his importance could be greater than first assumed. However, it’s also possible that he’s just another character contributing to the overall plot. Ultimately, the truth about Amado’s ultimate goals could significantly change how fans view his strategic skills in the series, especially when considering various theories about his true nature.

Amado’s Access To Shibai’s Remains

Maybe His Remains Were Easy To Get After All

As I pondered theories on Reddit, user u/Kublai-Gun and others suggested that Amado might have had limited options for obtaining Shibai’s remains, many of which were fairly straightforward. For example, one possibility was…

  • Isshiki hid Shibai’s remains somewhere: The last Otsutsuki leader, Isshiki, is known for his Daikokuten that can open gateways to different dimensions. It’s not surprising for a high-powered Otsutsuki like him to be aware of the location of his distant ancestor, much more hid him in an exclusive pocket dimension. As to how Isshiki himself got access to his ancestor’s remains in the vastness of spacetime is still another question to consider.
  • Amado really did stumble upon Shibai’s remains: Unlikely as it may be, perhaps Amado did somehow find an obscure monument that contained Shibai’s essence. Isshiki could have led him to it. One of the few ways this could be made possible is if Boruto’s world was the last place Shibai visited before shedding his physical body and ascending. Which is weird, because why did Shibai not just eat the planet first like with what he’s done to others? And if Shibai already visited the planet, why the need to send Isshiki and Kaguya there?

Is Amado Shibai Otsutsuki All Along?

Ascension Could Mean Easier Access To The Lower Planes

The sole legend concerning Shibai’s current place is that he abandoned his physical form to move into a different realm, a higher state of existence. This information does not necessarily mean that Shibai remains in the place where he transitioned or can never return to his original realm. As discussed in the same Reddit post, it is plausible that Shibai could still be active in our world – and his ascension might signify no longer requiring the Kama for his reincarnations. It’s possible that he may have taken over Amado for a purpose yet unknown to us.

It’s not unheard of for beings from higher dimensions to interact with lower ones – just like Neo returning to the Matrix after awakening, or the Tri-Solarians waging war across multiple dimensions in “Three-Body Problem.” Similarly, in the universe of “Naruto,” Shibai’s Shinjutsu can manifest in a wide variety of abilities, so it wouldn’t be surprising for strange phenomena like possession, reincarnation, or manipulation to play a part in his revival, as these concepts have been utilized in Naruto plots before. What’s truly unsettling is the question of what a god-level Otsutsuki could possibly want from a world as insignificant as the one in Naruto’s universe.

Or Amado Could Just Be Another Piece To The Puzzle

Manufactured Loyalty Could Also Mean Manufactured Goals

The Akatsuki differ significantly from Kara, as Kara members have been specifically enhanced with Shinobiware and powers from Otsutsuki’s Shibai. In return for their loyalty to Isshiki’s mission, Amado’s creations owe their existence to him. If Amado has manipulated their genetic structure using Shibai’s techniques and even embedded commands for verbal shutdown and removing limits (such as with Kawaki), then what prevents him from modifying his subjects’ memories and desires?

Initially, the concept that Kara’s Inners have had their memories tampered with seems utterly implausible, especially given the chaotic nature their conflicting loyalties can create when personal interests surface. Characters like Amado and Kashin Koji, who appear set on eliminating Jigen, make the notion of forced loyalty discussions rather redundant. Yet, considering a different theory about Amado’s true intentions, he might not only have planted false memories and motivations but also predispositions – subtle cues and habits that would influence his experiments to behave in specific ways. Or even more disturbingly, Amado himself could be operating under altered memories: what if he was subtly “guided” to manipulate Kara’s Inners while ensuring safety measures were in place for Isshiki?

The Himawari And Jura Angles

Could The Mini-Kurama Lead To An Unexpected Revival?

Back in the epic saga of Naruto, I found myself rooting for the cunning Black Zetsu, who seemed to be on Madara Uchiha’s side, all along orchestrating the deployment of the Infinite Tsukuyomi while the Ten-Tails was revived. The goal? To gather enough chakra to birth a Chakra Fruit potent enough to resurrect Kaguya Otsutsuki, with dreams of reclaiming the world under her rule once more. But thanks to Naruto and Sasuke’s heroic efforts, Kaguya has been successfully sealed, saving our world – for now!

Observing the current state of affairs, it’s not unreasonable to speculate that Himawari’s emergence as a Jinchuriki might fuel theories about a potential Otsutsuki revival. This is particularly plausible given that the Akatsuki only needed the Tailed Beasts to summon the Ten-Tails. If such circumstances were to arise, they could potentially pave the way for an Otsutsuki resurrection.

  • Unsavory forces could orchestrate a mistaken reunion among the Tailed Beasts to force the revival of the Ten-Tails.
  • Jura could always develop the “hunger” to eat his own kind and be reawakened as a true sentient Ten-Tails.
  • Jura could take Himawari’s Kurama for himself, combining his incomplete Ten-Tails essence with Kurama’s. component and turn him into an Otsutsuki hybrid.
  • What would happen if a Human God Tree eats their intended target?

Without fully understanding how Ten-Tails can be reborn, the intricacies of the God Tree’s influence on humans, or the specifics of Otsutsuki revivals, these scenarios remain as plausible possibilities.
