As a viewer, it’s no secret that with Two Blue Vortex focusing increasingly on Sarada and Himawari, my enjoyment of Boruto: TBV has reached new heights. In chapter 21, the spotlight shone brightly on Sarada Uchiha, leaving me speechless as she displayed her awe-inspiring black hole abilities during her battle against Ryu. To say the least, Sarada’s character has never been more captivating than it is now.

- Sarada Tapped Into The Power Of The Mangekyo Sharingan Vs Ryu
Readers are aware that Sarada Uchiha’s future holds greatness within Boruto’s world, given her ambition to become the Hokage someday. This aspiration implies she will eventually reach the pinnacle of success. Until recently, Kishimoto hadn’t taken many strides to make this dream a reality for Sarada, but that has changed. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 21, Sarada got closer than ever before to the role of Hokage. Notably, she unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, and without question, her power level is immense. In fact, it’s safe to say that Sarada Uchiha wields the most powerful Mangekyo Sharingan known to exist, making her a significant threat.
It might have just awakened but I know exactly what it is. — Sarada Uchiha to Mitsuki
In the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex (chapter 21), viewers got a clearer look at Sarada Uchiha’s abilities as her power of Black Holes was confirmed. In this installment, we saw Sarada creating several black spheres behind her, and it turned out these weren’t just any ordinary orbs – they were Black Holes! Using these cosmic wonders, she skillfully deflected Ryu’s attacks by attracting them towards the Black Holes. Remarkably, Sarada can selectively choose what gets sucked into her Black Holes and what doesn’t. Additionally, Sarada astounded fans by demonstrating the ability to control multiple Black Holes simultaneously – no less than 4 during her fight against Ryu, a feat that left viewers in awe.
Sarada Defeats Ryu Using Ohirume
Sarada’s Ultimate Jutsu Demolished Ryu
In the realm of Boruto, it’s hard to accept that someone could instantaneously destroy a Shinju, but Sarada has provided undeniable evidence that this is indeed feasible. Previously, Boruto Uzumaki attempted to use his powers to hurl an Uzuhiko at Hidari, and despite the immense power of his attack, he was unable to kill Hidari. Kawaki subsequently intervened and delivered the finishing blow. Remarkably, Sarada achieved what both Boruto and Kawaki had done combined, all on her own and without any prior training. This suggests that she may possess the greatest ability among the three.
Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume! — Sarada Uchiha
Fans witnessed Sarada employing her most potent Jutsu, Ohirume, which resulted in a Black Hole pulling Ryu towards it. As the Black Hole grew larger, it swallowed Ryu entirely. Eventually, Sarada detonated the Black Hole, fragmenting Ryu into pieces, leaving behind nothing but remnants. Ryu’s Thorn Soul Bulb was discarded aside, offering a chance for Shinki to be rescued now.
Boruto Joins The Battle
Chapter 21 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex provided fans with a closer look at Boruto Uzumaki. Though Ryu was subdued, Matsuri required another hit to be defeated, given Konohamaru’s unsuccessful mission aimed at her elimination. With the understanding that Konohamaru’s life could be in danger, Boruto rushed into battle to finish off Matsuri. This decision proved advantageous but may not have been the wisest, considering Jura, the strongest Shinju, has now tracked Boruto down and is expected to make a move as well.
Next month, the situation in Boruto might become tumultuous, potentially leading to a confrontation between Boruto and Jura.
The next chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will be out on May 20, 2025, at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time or 3 PM Coordinated Universal Time. You can read it for free, as usual, through the Manga Plus and Shonen Jump apps.
