In the fan community, the latest episode (One Piece 1126) of the “One Piece” anime has sparked another round of discussions due to its release. The fight scene between Luffy and Kizaru is receiving criticism for some debatable decisions by Toei Animation, along with concerns about the overall quality of that particular episode.
One Piece Aren’t Happy About The Newest One Piece Episode
Luffy vs Kizaru Was Not What Fans Expected
For quite some time now, One Piece anime enthusiasts have been patiently waiting, a span of six months in total. Their patience finally paid off when the series resumed in early April. However, since then, each episode has sparked debates within the One Piece community. The latest episode, One Piece 1126, marked the start of Luffy’s battle with Kizaru, a highly anticipated animations. Regrettably, the response from fans has been less than favorable, particularly given that it followed a six-month hiatus.
In this particular installment, I found myself witnessing Luffy utilizing not only his Gear 4 but also his Gear 5 in a showdown with Kizaru. However, some viewers expressed their concerns over the animation quality, recalling that it seemed more polished prior to any interruptions.
A common criticism, if not the most frequent, revolves around the extended duration of events, and this critique holds some water. This issue becomes particularly problematic when engaging in combat with a foe who moves at the speed of light. Poor pacing can make such a fight appear sluggish, which undermines its true pace.
In the popular series “One Piece,” the aspect that sparked most debate among fans was when Luffy seized Kizaru during his Gear 5 form. In the comic version, Luffy captures him almost immediately, before Kizaru even had a chance to perceive or respond. Conversely, in the animated adaptation, Kizaru notices Luffy’s hand approaching but fails to evade. This discrepancy seems unusual on Toei’s part, yet it is consistent with the pacing issues that have plagued “One Piece” since its inception. Despite a 6-month hiatus, fans had hoped that the animation would show improvement as the gap between the anime and manga widens, but it appears that little has changed.
Will One Piece Episode 1127 Be Better?
The next episode of “One Piece”, number 1127, is due out later this week, where we’ll witness the ongoing fight between Kizaru and Luffy. Fans can only judge the quality based on previews, but it seems the episode will be nothing short of spectacular. Moreover, notable animators such as Akihito Ota, Tu Yong-ce, Vincent Chansard, and others are involved, promising an exciting experience for fans.
As a viewer, I’d like to remind fellow One Piece enthusiasts that the current episodes might have been produced prior to the production break starting. Let’s remember to show understanding and compassion towards the animators and staff working on these episodes, as they’re not responsible for the quality not meeting our expectations. In Japan, where they work, animators are already under a significant amount of stress and overworked as it is.
