Schedule 1 game offers an utterly unpredictable gaming experience, maintaining its rebellious spirit by providing ample opportunities for a variety of engaging and sometimes unconventional actions. These span from the wildly unusual, such as manufacturing meth, to the seemingly ordinary, like acquiring a skateboard.

When moving about and participating in numerous activities, you’ll find yourself needing to carry quite a few things with you. Although adding items from Schedule 1 is straightforward, disposing of them could become challenging, since the game does not clearly explain how to discard items.

The inventory management system in Schedule 1 could use a bit more refinement, making it somewhat challenging to figure out how to interact with it effectively.

If you’re looking for advice on organizing your inventory and discarding unnecessary items to make room for more beneficial resources, this guide is tailored to your needs.

How To Discard Items

In Schedule 1, you’re not allowed to discard items casually. The only method to eliminate them is by completely getting rid of them, which means they are gone forever and cannot be recovered in the game.

Here’s how you can do it whenever you need to:

  • Open your inventory by pressing Tab to open your phone.
  • In the bottom right corner, you will see a small red box with “Discard” written on it.
  • Simply drag the items from your inventory screen and drop them in the small box to get rid of them.
You can also drop items in the world by pressing the E key, after which you will get a holographic view of the item and how it looks in the environment. You can even change the orientation of the item by pressing Q and E.
If the holographic image becomes red, it means you can’t place the item in that specific location. This usually occurs if the item is too large (or small) for the space.

Once you throw something away, it’s gone for good with no chance of retrieval, so think carefully before deciding to discard anything.

How To Throw Items Away In Schedule 1

As a gamer, if you’re on the hunt for a better way to offload your excess loot, let me share an unexpected tip: consider selling them to local thrift stores or donation centers. They might not be the flashiest option, but they can certainly help fund your next gaming adventure!

At Hyland Point, you can easily discard an item by pressing the ‘E’ key on your keyboard, followed by a swift toss into any nearby trash bin. These receptacles are conveniently scattered around the map, as well as found within your hideaways.

After gathering the items from the waste bin, place them in a black garbage sack instead. By doing so, you’ll be able to deposit the trash into the street-side compactor bins, which essentially turns waste into cash.

At Dan’s Hardware Store, you’ll find the Litter Picker available for only $50. This handy tool will assist you in collecting more litter.

How To Store Items

If you wish to temporarily set aside items from your inventory without discarding them, another option is to keep them stored away in designated areas such as on shelves, within storage compartments, or in the trunk of a vehicle.

  • You can buy storage racks from Dan’s Hardware Store. The large storage rack costs $60 and is the most efficient option out there.
  • A wall-mounted shelf can be purchased for $50. You can even store shelves on shelves (meta!). They look quite neat and are one of the best ways to store items in your house.
  • Schedule 1 also has a range of cars to choose from, with the cost of cars ranging from $5,000 to $40,000. Each of these vehicles also gives you more space to store items.
Here’s the whole range of cars you can buy that will not only help you travel around, but also act as your personal storage:

Vehicle Price Cargo Slots Speed rating
The Shitbox $5,000 5 1.5
The Veeper $9,000 16 2.2
The Bruiser $12,000 5 1.9
The Dinkler $15,000 8 2.1
The Hounddog $25,000 5 2.3
The Cheetah $40,000 4 2.5
