Netflix’s animated anthology series, Love, Death + Robots, is all set to make a thrilling comeback in just a few weeks, offering up 10 entirely new episodes filled with bizarre and extraordinary tales. As the release date approaches, Netflix has revealed an official volume 4 trailer that’s sure to have fans of the show longing for an early viewing.
Produced by Tim Miller and David Fincher, the critically acclaimed series “Love, Death + Robots” has garnered numerous awards since its debut in 2019, including 13 Emmys and one for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program. One of the standout episodes from Season 3, titled “Jibaro“, is particularly beloved by fans for its breathtaking animation, distinctive aesthetic, and poignant exploration of toxic relationships. This episode even earned animator Alberto Mielgo, a multiple award-winner, an Emmy for outstanding individual achievement in animation. For the upcoming Season 4, expect giant babies, cyborg fighters, alien invasions, dinosaur gladiators, and collaborations with the band “Red Hot Chili Peppers” members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith in an episode called “Can’t Stop”, as well as appearances by YouTube sensation MrBeast and comedian Kevin Hart.
New Love, Death + Robots Volume 4 Trailer Sees Full Voice Cast and Red Hot Chili Peppers

In addition to the recently unveiled trailer for volume 4 of the upcoming season of “Love, Death and Robots,” details about the animated series’ episodes have been made public, including its voice cast. The episode directed by David Fincher, titled “Can’t Stop,” features the Red Hot Chili Peppers as digital puppets with Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frusciante, and Chad Smith providing voices. In another episode directed by Robert Valley, we follow a post-apocalyptic city where warring gangs adhere to a bushido-like code of honor; this story stars John Boyega, Ed Skrein, Sienna King, and Rahul Kohli.
1) In an episode titled “The Other Large Thing,” featuring a cat plotting global conquest, Chris Parnell, John Oliver, Fred Tatasciore, and Rachel Kimsey provide the voices, while Tim Miller commands in “The Screaming of The Tyrannosaur,” which will star MrBeast and Bai Ling as dinosaurs engaged in a lethal gladiator battle. Robert Bisi and Andy Lyon direct “Close Encounters of the Mini Kind,” paying tribute to traditional sci-fi tales of alien invasion. Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Blur Studio are behind “Spider Rose,” set in the same cyberpunk universe as season 3’s “Swarm,” with Emily O’Brien, Feodor Chin, Piotr Michael, and Sumalee Montano taking on the starring roles.

To date, “Love, Death and Robots” season 4 appears to be gearing up for another outstanding viewing experience. While it’s too early to tell if it will surpass the heights reached in season 3, the intriguing storylines and an impressive ensemble of voice actors suggest that it might just outshine its predecessor. With Miller and Fincher leading the way, this new season could be its strongest yet.
