EA recently unveiled a fresh Update Roadmap specifically for The Sims 4 players, focusing on significant improvements being considered for the game’s upcoming update. These enhancements address a variety of issues raised by the community over time. The Sims 4 has been available for more than ten years and during this period, it has rolled out multiple expansion packs to introduce new elements such as features, items, and environments, with the latest one being Businesses & Hobbies pack.

At the beginning of April, players of The Sims 4 received an unexpected upgrade, leading some to speculate that this was a strategic move in response to InZOI’s late-March release of their competing sim game. However, this update offered an array of fresh items and character personalization options for fans to explore eagerly.

In “The Sims 4”, one of the popular games that allows players to cultivate their own gardens, several issues are currently under investigation for the upcoming update. These include a bug preventing Sims from watering plants and plants displaying black spots upon zooming out. Other prominent concerns raised in the Laundry List include glitchy Vampire eyes on Child Sims, unresponsive Sims and game freezing while utilizing the save menu, as well as a bug causing the game to become unresponsive when traveling to the Library and Willow Creek nightclub. Additionally, an unusual problem being looked into is the issue of Sims’ arm hair failing to disappear after shaving according to the player’s chosen length.

The Sims 4 Laundry List Specifies Fixes Coming in Next Update Based on Community Concerns

The community of people who play life simulation games isn’t hesitant to express their opinions about in-game problems, such as the frustration of The Sims 4 players with a specific item. Through the game’s forum, Maxis and EA have been attentive to player concerns, leading to several fixes in the upcoming update. Additionally, The Laundry List mentioned that some additional topics reported by players didn’t appear on the list, but they are still being addressed quietly.

For quite some time now, The Sims 4 has reigned supreme as the premier social simulator. However, another life simulation game, developed by Krafton and known as InZOI, had piqued the interest of the gaming community. Given its potential to challenge Maxis and Electronic Arts’ dominant IP, Krafton even reached out to players of The Sims 4 for feedback on InZOI. As it is currently in early access, there are still some kinks that the developers need to work out. Additionally, the significant decrease (85%) in player count following its launch will be closely observed as well.
