On the other hand, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Gaige, the Mechromancer, who combined classic minion mechanics with Borderlands’ iconic robots. As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but notice the captivating black and purple aura surrounding Vex in Borderlands 4. This hints at her Siren powers possibly leaning more towards the necromancer archetype seen in many RPGs, rather than Gaige ever did, despite their class namesakes. The prospect of blending the entertaining pet-based builds from FL4K with a minion that embodies death itself, thanks to its cape and scythe, makes Borderlands 4’s Siren an exciting character for me. She appears to be offering a promising blend of what was great in both Borderlands 2 and 3. Only the passage of time will reveal just how entertaining and potent Vex’s minion builds will be in the game, but fans who enjoyed either Gaige or FL4K should find a familiar charm in Borderlands 4.
