For gamers, it’s not possible to walk into a store and pre-order a Switch 2 GameCube controller. Instead, the only way to acquire this controller is by purchasing it directly from Nintendo. Nintendo will send out invitations, allowing a select few to pre-order the Switch 2, giving them priority access to the GameCube controllers. These invitations will be sent between May 8 and May 12. On May 13, all Switch Online members will have the opportunity to place an order for a GameCube controller.
