Players are making excellent use of game anomalies and unintended advantages (exploits) or unexpected bugs (glitches), found within Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, allowing them to manipulate the game mechanics beyond their intended purpose.
Instead of observing NPCs shoot arrows at targets and subsequently acquiring those arrows (which is a slow process), players could invest the same amount of time in creating vast quantities of arrows, like 500,000 within seconds, and then profit from selling them to afford the finest houses in the game.

| Unlimited Carry Capacity | Another variant of item duplication that will send players current carrying capacity value into the negatives. Allowing them to carry substantially more than they should be able to. |
| Sneak Skill Glitch | Players can use a specific location and NPC. Players can do this at any time in the game by returning to the prison in which they started. |
| Security Skill Exploit | Players will need to find a lock with more than 1 tumbler in it. Once they do, they only need to solve the first tumbler. Then, while still under the tumbler they have already completed, they can spam the button to make the game think they are continuously successfully completing more tumblers. |
| Speechcraft Exploit | To raise Speechcraft as fast as possible, players just need to go to any NPC and select any of the Speechcraft options in any order. This will cause the NPCs’ disposition to rise and lower, giving them experience in the skill. Should the NPC become unable to use Speechcraft on, simply go to another NPC in the area. |
To employ the Item Duplication technique as previously stated, players must possess a minimum of three identical items for it to function effectively.
Do Exploits Ruin the Experience of Oblivion Remastered?
Excessive reliance on game exploits can spoil the overall enjoyment of the game, but judicious use can even improve the player’s experience. Some players might opt for Alteration spells instead of relying on the security skill. However, these players could encounter a situation where their Intelligence level is insufficient to cast a spell they require for a specific part of the game.
Utilizing this exploit, players can quickly advance to achieve the required level, after which they can continue playing as usual with an appropriate level of difficulty. Alternatively, they could replicate multiple lockpicks, ensuring they always have something to sell when low on funds for a desired spell.
