How To Unlock Daggers Twinblade Claws V Rising

In the game, the arrivals of the Oakveil Invaders have ushered in numerous alterations. This includes a fresh region, new adversaries, bosses, magical abilities, and weapons. Three novel additions to the player’s arsenal in this hack-and-slash survival game as a vampire are the Twinblade, Throwing Daggers, and Claws.

Discover some amazing combinations and abilities that have significantly influenced the gameplay in V Rising, making it essential for players to learn about these weapons’ characteristics. For those curious about acquiring these freshly introduced weapons, this guide will provide all the necessary details to help players obtain them, along with information on their skills, best builds, advantages, and disadvantages.

How To Get The Twinblade In V Rising

As I delve into the expansive Dunley Farms region, I’ll be thrilled to lay my hands on the innovative Twinblade – the very first weapon I can acquire in this exciting journey! However, before that, I must conquer Gaius the Cursed Champion, a formidable adversary who resides within the Colosseum POI.

Once upon a time, the Colosseum served as a social hub for players seeking a dash of PvP action. Yet, as I venture closer, it transforms into a genuine battleground, with the green banner at its center signaling the commencement of my challenge against Gaius.

To defeat Gaius, gamers must engage him within a diminishing battlefield that forms a lethal area. Stepping outside this zone will result in periodic harm, ultimately leading to death. Additionally, Gaius can expel players from the circle using his jumping assault. To prevail, players should position themselves near the center of the arena and confront Gaius directly, inflicting as much damage as they can.

Gaius might find himself in a fix following his jump attack, leading his health to revert back to default. To avoid this glitch, it’s best to engage battles at a distance away from the boundaries of the battlefield.

It’s wiser to avoid ranged weapons because as soon as an opponent gets enough distance, they can quickly dash toward you and launch a powerful push attack, potentially knocking you out of the arena. Instead, opt for defensive spells like Frost Shield or Cursed Shield to ward off their attacks, followed by quick, heavy strikes using high-damage weapons such as Axes or Spears.

After defeating this enemy, players can gain access to the Twinblade, boasting the special ability to execute double-strike attacks during its combo sequence. It offers a reasonable attack pace, and comes equipped with two potent abilities:

  • Javelin: Tosses the weapon towards the target location, dealing 125% physical damage and inflicting a 1.5s fading snare in an area. The weapon automatically recalls after 2s causing it to pierce, pull, and deal 80% physical damage to enemies in its path. Recast the ability to dash towards the weapon, pushing back foes. This action will cancel the recall.
  • Sweeping Strike: Lunges forward and swings the twinblade, dealing 100% physical damage in a line and launching enemies into the air and to the opposite side of the player.

In a powerful and extended strike range, the Twinblade weapon, combined with its mobility/CC combo, ranks among the top 5 best choices in the game V Rising. Since it was introduced, the meta has significantly shifted, making it an essential addition for players aiming to excel in PvP combat. However, the Twinblade deals less damage compared to other two-handed melee weapons such as the Mace or Great Sword.

Using either Chaos Surge or Blood Rage with the Twinblade can offset its moderate attack pace due to their abilities. The Twinblade’s semi-circular combos offer a broad range, enabling players to control and keep their opponents at a distance with its potent crowd control capabilities. To boost its attack speed further, utilize Storm Veil, or for an AoE explosion whenever it hits burning enemies, choose Chaos Veil.

How To Get The Daggers In V Rising

To acquire the Daggers, you must defeat Bane the Shadowblade, a character who frequently traverses the roads surrounding Dunley Farms in a circular pattern. His journey begins at the Dunley Monastery, continues to Dawnbreak Village, heads north to the Bastion of Dunley, and eventually returns to the monastery. You’ll recognize Bane as he disguises himself as a traveler wearing a cloak, which is the standard human disguise for those with such powers.

There will be several decoys resembling Bane along your path, but you can identify him by tracking his V Blood trail. This will help you distinguish the real Bane from the impostors. Keep in mind that Bane often appears near the northern Waygate, so if he doesn’t show up in the southern region of Dunley Farms, focus your search on the northern area.

As soon as players engage Bane in combat, the fight commences, and he will assault anything within his sight. Maintain a safe distance and employ Crossbows and Bows to gradually reduce his health. Employ Chaos Shield or Cursed Shield to deflect damage or summon Skeletons to distract him. When Bane activates his ‘disguise trap ability,’ players should target the decoy that doesn’t face them and is shrouded in a purple mist. The remaining cloaked decoys are traps, so avoid destroying them as they will summons skeletons instead.

Bane can be defeated effectively with ranged weapons, but take caution: If players stray too far from the original battle location, he’ll withdraw from the fight and fully restore his health.

In my experience, relentlessly dodging Bane’s duplicitous dagger throws and sweeping AoE attacks, and avoiding his roundhouse swings, will swiftly lead to his demise. Bane may not be incredibly tough, but be cautious in PvP environments as other players might try to intervene mid-battle, either attempting to seize Bane or your hard-earned loot.

After overcoming Bane, players will obtain a blueprint for crafting the Daggers. Once constructed, these daggers possess a unique passive ability that stores four of them every few seconds without requiring an attack, and then hurls them rapidly in succession. The second passive allows the daggers to bounce off targets and fall to the ground, where they remain until picked up. Here are the abilities of the Daggers:

* Stored Dagger: A passive ability that automatically stores 4 daggers every few seconds without attacking
* Rapid Throws: The active ability that throws the stored daggers in quick succession
* Bouncing Daggers: Daggers bounce off targets and fall to the ground, remaining there until picked up.

This way, the text is more conversational and easier for the average reader to understand.

  • Rain of Daggers: Leaps into the air and throws 4 daggers in front of the player, each dagger deals 40% physical damage and inflicts a 2s fading snare. Daggers remain on the ground for 8s.
  • Release Daggers: Inflicts a 1.5s fading snare in a Circular AoE around the player and releases all nearby daggers that are stuck in the ground. Released daggers return to the player, piercing enemies and dealing 40% physical damage. Each dagger that returns grants one dagger stack and reduces the cooldown of Rain of Daggers by 0.2s.

The Daggers serve as an agile class of weapons, comparable to Pistols and Whips. They prioritize mobility above all else in their design. When it comes to inflicting damage, employ hit-and-run tactics with these weapons for optimal efficiency. However, keep in mind that they have a distinct disadvantage or weakness.

As a passionate film enthusiast might say, daggers truly shine in builds that prioritize Attack Speed and Move Speed. A nimble player, armed with the Storm Veil, will witness an enhancement to their attack speed, or alternatively, employ the Veil of Frost to inflict chill with each dagger strike, slowing down adversaries and readying them for a devastating barrage upon activation of Release Daggers. In this build, Frost Nova and Frost Bat are also potent choices. Notably, daggers can swiftly dismantle bosses within mere seconds, making them an invaluable asset in PVE combat.

How To Get The Claws In V Rising

As a follower, I’ve been working my way through Vardoran, and the claws are the last weapon I’ll be able to acquire. But be warned, to get them, I’ll have to take on Frostmaw, one of the most formidable mid-game bosses. You can find him wandering the Hallowed Mountains. When we engage in combat with this beast, it’s crucial to ensure no one else is nearby, for Frostmaw has the ability to summon a fierce blizzard that not only obscures vision but also makes it impossible to see beyond the battlefield.

In addition to its abilities, Frostmaw is capable of charging swiftly towards the player, raking them and freezing them in just a few strikes. This is typically followed by a potent breath attack that emits frost. Engaging it in close combat is ill-advised, as players won’t find safety using Crossbows, Daggers, or Bows. The Frostmaw possesses an Icicle attack that is dispersed like a cone pattern. Icicle shards can freeze players upon impact, but they can be dodged by blocking them with structures (rocks, trees, etc.) or using Shield Spells such as Chaos Shield, Frost Shield, and Cursed Shield.

As Frostmaw summons a blizzard, he’ll begin wandering both indoors and out, beyond the limits of your sight, so beware of his sneak attacks. Make sure to dodge at the right instances and counterattack to ultimately vanquish him and seize the coveted Claws blueprint.

The Claws function as potent close-combat tools, featuring sequences of three strikes, with the final one causing Puncture (up to thrice accumulated). When fully stacked, players can activate a burst effect, dealing 75% damage to the target and 50% to surrounding foes. These weapons are indeed mighty, boasting two strong abilities as well.

  • Lunge: Vault towards the cursor and cleaves enemies, dealing 120% physical damage and inflicting Puncture. Lunge can trigger a Puncture rupture to cause even more damage.
  • Skewering Leap: Leap to target location, dealing 100% physical damage, inflicting Puncture and a 1s incapacitate. The players bounce off enemies towards their aiming direction. Missing an enemy will cause them to stick to the ground for a short duration (0,3 s).

The Claws excel in close combat, but their downside lies in a brief stun delay if players fail to land the Skewering Leap. They have few vulnerable spots overall. These weapons are perfect for constructing a berserker vampire with exceptional healing abilities and high attack speed.

With your claws, increase the speed of your attacks using the boost from Maximum Attack Speed (Brute Blood, A. Speed Equipment, Elixir of the Werewolf). This speeds up Puncture and deals massive damage. For even quicker strikes, combine this with the leech effect from Veil of Blood, or enhance it further by equipping Storm Veil for additional speed.

In Player versus Player situations, consider using Blood Rage and Phantom Aegis alongside your claws, as these items are particularly beneficial if you have Brute Blood due to their leech and mitigation properties. Additionally, spells like Frost Nova or Wraith Spear can be employed for swift crowd control, allowing you to get in close and unleash powerful attacks.
