During your initial playthrough of Blue Prince, you might have spotted some locked doors within the Sanctum. Interestingly, there are eight unique hidden keys scattered throughout the house in the game. Each of these keys unlocks a door leading to additional puzzles within the Sanctum in Blue Prince.

In one of the rooms, specifically Room 46, you’ll encounter a Sigil puzzle. Each Sigil puzzle provides clues about various continents or countries within this world you’re currently exploring. Here’s what each Sigil represents and how to solve them accurately:

What Do Sigils Mean in Blue Prince?

In the sealed chambers of the Sanctum within the game ‘Blue Prince’, each room’s Sigil represents distinct features of the eight continents. The central emblem displays the continent’s name, while the rays extending from it depict the dominant transportation method and typical weather conditions of that region. The smaller symbols (Motes) scattered between the rays signify the primary focus or lifestyle of the inhabitants. Lastly, the periphery encircling the Sigil represents the nation’s color. For a comprehensive understanding of these symbols, refer to the Library book ‘Realm and Rune’, available in the Bookstore, or seek fragments hidden within the underground passages.

After understanding the composition of each Sigil, it is time for you to determine which nation receives which symbols. This can be achieved by using contextual hints scattered throughout the manor. Once you have deciphered all the Sigils, a new achievement trophy will appear in the game Blue Prince.

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 1: Orinda Aries

Behind the first door, you’ll find the symbol for Orinda Aries. You can locate a nearly whole set of this nation’s symbols in the underground, specifically in the grouping of candles that can be transformed into stairs. Another one is located in the Garden following your demolition of a wall using one of the numerous Blue Prince devices. The answer involves three Rays evenly spaced from each other: Trains for the industry, Foggy Rays for a mysterious element, Metropolitan for urban areas, and Black as the national color.

If you’ve been observant, you might recognize Fenn Aries quite frequently. It appears on Mary’s birth certificate, all her passports, and even in the Library book about Sigils. The Sigil of Fenn Aries includes the elements Fog, Roads, Red, and Military.

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 3: Arch Aries

In Arch Aries’ house, there are several hidden hints to find. One is located in the 4th Grade Classroom where tests reveal countries identified by their unique symbols. Another clue can be found in the Mailroom with stamps that depict a prominent lightning bolt and signs of industry – these details will help you discern both the shape of lines and the dots within the circle. Lastly, the flag for Arch Aries is yellow; you can find this color by completing the coloring activity in the Blue Prince Classroom.

The proper arrangement of colors positions yellow on the square-heart-shaped flag, known as Arch Aries. To find out what their primary means of travel is, we can guess. So, the answer is Trains, Lightnings (or Thunderbolts), Industries, and Yellow.

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 4: Eraja

There’s a bit less evidence of Eraja at home now, but I can still gather enough clues to solve this puzzle. From the poster hanging in The Blue Prince classroom, one might infer that Eraja’s color is purple, as confirmed by an old first-grade coloring sheet. Furthermore, there’s a fragment of the Sigil hidden within a scrapbook found inside an archive cabinet, offering additional insights about the region’s weather (Rain) and the fact that its inhabitants are Poetic. Lastly, if you venture into Her Ladyship’s room, you will discover an Erajan hat and notice that the entire space is decorated in purple.

Using this data, your task is to determine the mode of transport, which could be deduced by examining related articles within the same scrapbook as the clue provided earlier, or alternatively through a process known as brute force. The solution is Trains, Rainy, Poetic, Violet.

In the dormitory, there’s a book detailing the academic focus of Corarica. Additionally, you’ll find a stamp depicting the snow that Corarica is famous for. Interestingly, the color of the 1st Grade Classroom’s flag test determines the flag’s color. The solution for Corarica includes Snow, Roads (possibly referring to infrastructure or transportation), Academics, and Orange (which could be a school color or flag color).

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 6: Mora Jai

Mora Jai’s stamp symbolizes a vessel, indicating its association with sea voyages. The phrase “The White Sea of Yore” on the stamp implies that the flag is white in normal weather conditions. Therefore, we can describe it as Naval (associated with the sea), Normal Weather (representing clear skies), Spiritual (not explicitly mentioned but may refer to the symbolism of the sea or the flag), and White (referring to the color of the flag).

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 7: Verra

In the mail delivered to our Mail Room, you might come across a letter bearing a Verra stamp. This letter describes a place that resembles a sandy terrain teeming with enormous turtles and has a distinctive pink hue. Interestingly, this description matches a section of a Sigil found in the Lost and Found, specifically a red floorplan in the game ‘Blue Prince’. Furthermore, the close proximity of the lines suggests that the mode of transportation is not roads or trains, nor camels. The solution to this Sigil puzzle is ‘Pink, Turtle-back, Heat, and Spiritual’.

Sanctum Sigil Behind Door 8: Nuance

The last door is designated for the nation of Nuance. Solve the Mora Jai puzzle box adorned with Nuance insignias in each corner, and you’ll observe that they are consistently green. Given this, it’s clear that their national flag is green; one can find such a flag displayed in the Solarium. In the educational spaces, you’ll notice that airships of Nuance are assisting in the conflict against Fenn Aries, making them militarily inclined. This is confirmed when a falsified box within the Treasure Room states that “Nuance is pacifistic.” Additionally, a stamp on the note found in the foyer bears an image of a Nuance-labeled airship. The solution to this puzzle is Windy, Aviation, Martial, and Green.

How To Complete the Sigil Puzzles

To solve the sigil puzzles, it’s essential to understand each wheel’s function. The initial wheel, positioned at the top, is relatively small, while the wheels progressively grow in size as you move towards the bottom.
