Where To Get Dragonsword of Lainlyn & Lord Kane’s Shield in Oblivion Remastered
After stepping into the castle through its main entrance, veer to your left. You’ll come across a wooden door there. Open it and glance to your left to spot a wall with a standing pillar next to it. Interact with this setup, and it will uncover a passageway. Make your way towards the Basement, continue descending, and upon entering the room, move towards the opposite corner where you’ll discover another door.
First, proceed forward and climb the initial steps, then make a right turn, followed by another left turn to get into the sparring room. Move towards the room situated to your east, where you’ll come across a dummy target for archery practice. Behind this dummy, turn right to find a candle-lit structure that you can trigger to open a hidden pathway, leading you to the Battlehorn Castle Grotto.

Step indoors, make your way down the stairs where you’ll encounter a dead end, but just as before, you’ll notice a movable pillar on your left that you can manipulate to uncover a hidden path. Take a right turn, and you’ll find yourself standing on a balcony. To your left, you’ll spot the remains of Lord Kane, whom you must defeat. Upon his defeat, search around his body to discover the Dragonsword of Lainlyn and Lord Kane’s Shield.
In this location, you’ll find a ghost who holds a crucial key. This key can be employed to unlock a treasure chest submerged somewhere nearby.
