Summary
- Battle for Azeroth Timewalking in WoW Patch 11.1.7 offers new rewards like mounts and transmogs.
- Timewalking events allow players to earn Timewarped Badges by completing dungeons from old expansions.
- BFA Timewalking will feature six dungeons like Atal’Dazar and Waycrest Manor, but no Timewalking Raid for now.
The upcoming patch, 11.1.7, will introduce Timewalking to World of Warcraft, a feature that brings back an exciting battle known as Battle for Azeroth. This new phase promises enticing rewards, such as elusive transmogrifications and mounts like the Kul Tiran trenchcoats, Dark Ranger and Sylvanas bows, and Moonlit Nightsaber. Once Battle for Azeroth Timewalking is active during the Turbulent Timeways event in the next World of Warcraft update, players can acquire these items and others by using Timewarped Badges.
During specific, weekly intervals lasting a week, players can participate in Timewalking events, venturing into dungeons from earlier expansions to gain levels, acquire equipment, and receive Timewarped Badges. These badges can be traded for prizes such as mounts, toys, gear, and reputation. With the introduction of Classic Timewalking during World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary, each time period spanning the game’s first 14 years now has its own dedicated Timewalking event.
Approximately seven years since its debut, Battle for Azeroth is set to receive a Timewalking upgrade, making available several items that were previously unattainable through vendors. While the complete list of items hasn’t been disclosed yet, players on the Public Test Realm, such as WoW enthusiast Saphras, have spotted several Kul Tiras trenchcoats from the new Timewalking Vendor. Initially worn only by Human and Kul Tiran NPCs, these coats can now be donned by any race. It’s speculated that these are just half of the colors that will eventually become available. Additionally, Wowhead contributor Portergauge discovered that the bows wielded by World of Warcraft‘s renowned Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner and her Dark Rangers may also be purchasable from this vendor.
WoW: Battle for Azeroth Timewalking Rewards
As per information from content creator MrGM in World of Warcraft, players can now obtain the Moonlit Nightsaber and Ivory Savagemane mounts from vendors, providing fans with the long-awaited white versions of these sought-after mounts after several years. Furthermore, the Chrono Corsair Infinite Dragon pirate mount will be attainable through the third Turbulent Timeways event in World of Warcraft, signaling the approach of the new Timewalking expansion.
During the Battle for Azeroth (BFA) Timewalking period, there will be six dungeons to explore: Atal’Dazar, Freehold, King’s Rest, Shrine of the Storm, Temple of Sethraliss, and Waycrest Manor. For now, a Timewalking Raid won’t be included at launch, but it’s hoped that the Battle of Dazar’Alor, Eternal Palace, or Ny’alotha may be incorporated into the event at some point in the future.
