In the game “Revenge of the Savage Planet,” the Roundtrip 2.0 mission centers around refurbishing a spaceship, which is called the Javelin. Although this task is assigned to the player at the start of the game, it isn’t possible to finish it until later in the gameplay.
The initial goal here is to extract a metallic component from the spacecraft, followed by a thorough cleanup process involving several steps. These steps may include washing the metal piece, wiping away any dust or cobwebs, and eliminating sticky orange substances that have adhered to the spacecraft’s surface.
If you’re finding it hard to finish this mission, then this walkthrough is perfect for you. I’ll show you how to conquer the Roundtrip 2.0 quest within the game ‘Revenge of the Savage Planet’.
How to Move the Javelin

In the adventure ‘Revenge of the Savage Planet’, the primary goal at the start of Roundtrip 2.0 is to relocate the aged Javelin onto firm terrain so it can be examined. Regrettably, players cannot achieve this task until they acquire the necessary tool, known as the Magnetic Fork device.
As I journeyed deeper into the game world, I eventually stumbled upon a unique item – the Magnetic Fork. This wasn’t just handed to me; I earned it by following the narrative, making choices along the way, and overcoming challenges. Once acquired, I returned to my trusty Javelin with this intriguing new tool at my side.
Once you acquire the Magnetic Fork, maneuver towards the submerged Javelin. Then, employ the Magnetic Fork to draw out the Javelin from the water and position it on firm ground. Subsequently, a series of tasks related to cleaning the Javelin become accessible.
How to Prepare the Javelin for Launch

To ready the Javelin for release, players should perform these steps: remove any sticky residue (goo), shatter the amber, and incinerate the webbing. Furthermore, they need to manufacture five replacement components using a 3D printer.
How to Clean up the Goo

Among all tasks at hand, wiping off the sticky substance seems to be the most straightforward, given that the Power Hose is perpetually filled with water, eliminating the need for players to search for water themselves (unlike the Lava, Ferro Goo, and Green Goo Reservoirs).
As a gamer, what I gotta do here is gear up with the Power Hose and blast away at the sticky green stuff on the Javelin. Be sure to orbit around the Javelin while I’m blasting, so I don’t miss a single drop of that goo!
How to Break the Amber
Players can remove the amber (orange crystals) from the Javelin using Blight Bombs, which can be found near a tiny glowing plant that’s scattered throughout the galaxy.
On any given planet, you might come across Blight Bombs, but they are most abundant and easily found on Quasadron IX. This is because this level is where these specific plants were initially introduced, resulting in a large number of them being spread throughout the area. For reference, an image of what the plant looks like is provided below.
After stocking up on Blight Bomb ammunition, make your way back to your Javelin at the home base and fire it at any amber clusters to progress towards the next task.
How to Burn the Cobwebs
Players must gather lava from the red plants depicted (in the attached image), which will then fill their Lava Tank, helping them clear out any cobwebs on the Javelin.
Instead of swiftly moving between planets via fast travel when carrying Blight Bomb ammo, players must gather lava from the same planet where their Javelin, Stellaris Prime, is located because it vanishes upon leaving.
To help you out, I’ve included a picture displaying the whereabouts of one of the plants mentioned earlier. However, it might involve some investigations across our planet to find it.
After obtaining the molten rock, make your way back to the Javelin and employ your Lava Tank to annihilate every cobweb.
All Javelin Locations in Revenge of the Savage Planet

To complete the final goal of the Roundtrip 2.0 mission in Revenge of the Savage Planet, you’ll first need to locate the blueprints for all five parts before you can proceed with 3D printing them.
Players will receive two out of the total five pieces. One piece can be obtained by scanning the first Javelin, while another is gained naturally over time. However, the remaining three pieces need to be found by locating three additional Javelins scattered throughout the star system.
Examining these Javelins will grant the player a blueprint, detailing the components needed to fix their Javelin at the base camp.
Javelin Location in Zenithian
In the Ruin Summit region of Zenithian, you’ll find one of the Javelins. The enclosed picture indicates the precise spot where the Javelin lies, so head over there and start your search!
To ensure you have all the information needed for the specific component, it’s crucial to thoroughly examine the entire Javelin first. Once that’s done, return to the base and navigate to your 3D printer to manufacture the necessary part within the “Javelin” category.
Javelin Location in Xephyr
In Xephyr, you’ll find the upcoming Javelin hidden in the northern part of Crystal Pillars. It’s wedged between two large stones, making it quite noticeable.
Just like with other Javelins, get close and inspect its whole structure. When the game signals that your task is accomplished, make your way back to base camp and print the following component using 3D technology.
Javelin Location in Quasadron IX
It was quite challenging for me to track down the last Javelin; I spent a considerable amount of time searching for it. Eventually, I found it hidden within the Savannah Lake region on Quasadron IX, submerged beneath the water’s surface.
Following the indicated spot depicted in the attached image, you’ll discover a peculiar tree resembling a face, standing by a tranquil water body. Dive or submerge into this waterbody to locate the last Javelin hidden there, examine it thoroughly, and then make your way back to the base camp for 3D printing the essential component based on the scanned data from the found item.
After crafting the last piece for my Javelin, I’m ready to call it a day and head back home. Press the door control on my Javelin, and I’ll be blasted off, only to find myself greeted by the ending credits.
