- Alcremie has 70 possible appearances.
In an upcoming update on June 12th, the customizable Fairy-type Pokemon Alcremie from Generation 8 will be joining Pokemon Unite. Fans have been eagerly anticipating this addition to the game for several months now, and their wait is almost at an end.
Debuted in July 2021, the MOBA game called “Pokemon Unite” for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices offers a unique blend of features from the Pokemon games. For instance, enhancing your strength during matches involves capturing wild Pokemon. Initially, it had only 19 playable monsters at launch, but as of 2025, its roster has expanded to over 70 characters, with the most recent addition being Alolan Raichu joining “Pokemon Unite” on April 17.
A fresh trailer for the upcoming game has been released, featuring the petite Cream Pokemon balancing on a two-tiered strawberry-decorated cake while spinning around, hinting at its arrival in the game on June 12. While some attentive followers of the game have anticipated Alcremie’s debut since late February, when a presentation during Pokemon Day 2025 unveiled that Alcremie, Alolan Raichu, and Suicune would be added to the game later this year, fans are now curious about which other Pokemon will be introduced following the June update. With Suicune’s release in March and Alolan Raichu’s debut in April, the question remains as to which additional Pokemon will join the game after the upcoming update.
Alcremie Gets Pokemon Unite Release Date
According to the developers’ updates, Alcremie is set to become a support Pokemon, joining other Fairy-type characters such as Comfey, Wigglytuff, and Mr. Mime in this category. While those eager for immediate action may not find Alcremie particularly exciting due to its role, it should prove valuable in team-based play by offering assistance through healing, debuffs, and crowd control.
Alcremie has gained significant popularity due to its customizable features, first introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. In these games, when Milcery evolves, it transforms into one of 70 distinct forms. These transformations are categorized across ten different cream colors (including shiny forms) and seven various sweets that become a permanent part of its head’s hair-like structures upon evolution. Players can strategize to get their preferred Alcremie version in Sword and Shield by evolving at specific times of day and spinning their character in a particular way. Interestingly, the Alcremie in Pokemon Unite has taken on the Strawberry Sweet Vanilla Cream form particularly.
