While roaming the streets of Averno City as Nick Cordell Jr., you’ll find yourself predominantly engaged in handling dispatched calls and combating criminal acts. Amidst the turmoil, you’ll have opportunities to hunt for hidden items too.

In the game, plaques serve as distinctive collectibles, providing additional historical context about significant landmarks within the city. You can find these plaques attached to walls, windows, or even trees. Accumulating knowledge from every single one awards you the Historian achievement/trophy in The Precinct. However, locating all of them can be challenging when exploring a densely populated city like Averno City.

All Plaque Locations in The Precinct

To earn the Historian badge or award, players need to explore the city and discover 20 inscriptions on various landmarks. Here are their locations:

ACPD Precinct Take the back entrance outside to the parking lot. The plaque is on the wall to the right.
Averno Industry Steel Mill Head to the subway station in Brookhaven. The plaque is on the wall of the building next to the subway entrance.
Eastern Averrno City Bridge Go to Lacoima Bay and head toward the bridge. The plaque is on the building to the right of the bridge.
The Colosseum Take the Lacoima Bridge to northern Averno. The plaque is on the eastern wall of the Colosseum next to a set of double doors.
Hotel Rouge Go to the western side of Sunnyside and look for a building with three flags hanging from its walls. The plaque is next to the door.
Jammy’s Donuts Visit the subway station in Boddicker Yard. Right next to it, you’ll find Jammy’s Donuts. The plaque is on the shop’s window.
The Roxy Lounge Drive around Carlito until you spot two large horse statues. Head toward the stores near the western statue. The plaque is on a grey building next to a record store.
Serenity Park Go to the western road of Serenity Park and enter from the western entrance. The plaque is on a large tree at the top of the stairs.
Averno City’s Museum of Local History Found on the east side of Dutch Exchange. The plaque is next to the museum’s entrance up the stairs.
Beale Broadcast Also in Dutch Exchange. Find the ACTV building near the subway station. The plaque is on the wall of the building next to the Averno Sentinel sign.
Electric Avenue Theater North of Shermer Court. Look for a shop named Joe’s Games & Hardware. The plaque is on the building to the right.
Averno City Docks Head toward the northern dock of Carver Port. The plaque can be found on the massive red brick building near the dock entrance.
Western Averno City Bridge From Carver Port, head toward Longmile Bridge. On your left, you’ll see a warehouse with a green roof. The plaque is on the wall of this building.
Averno City’s First R.A.A.T Station Head to the subway station on South Shore. You’ll find the plaque right next to the subway entrance.
Helipad Take the road past Haddonfield Point toward Pilgrim’s Lookout. You’ll see a dock on your right. The plaque will be on the wall of the small building with a billboard on top.
Coastal Seating Area Go to the corner of Pilgrim’s Lookout heading toward Slipwater Yard, and you’ll spot a car park on your right. The plaque is on the small booth inside the car park.
Chinatown Go to the center of Chinatown and look for a large stairway. The plaque is located at the bottom of the stairs.
St. Harry’s Hospital Head toward Baltimore Terrace and look for the Upper Averno City Hospital. The plaque is near the emergency entrance, next to a phone booth on the left.
Founder’s Bank Travel to Mercer Heights and find the large Averno City Bank with two lion statues in front. Head to the parking area on the left to find the plaque next to the small side entrance.
Averno Guardians Head to the center of Central Plaza and look for a large statue in the middle. The plaque is on the right side of the statue.

Once you locate and peruse the last plaque within The Precinct, the Historian accomplishment or trophy will be automatically awarded to you. This intriguing artifact is one of the game’s highlights, allowing you to delve deeper into the city’s thicket and discover all its hidden treasures.
