- By using Conqueror’s Haki, Zoro created the King of Hell style, defeating opponents.
- Zoro might surpass Admirals by mastering Conqueror’s Haki and blackening his blades.
As a bystander, I’ve noticed that the stalwart figure alongside Monkey D. Luffy, goes by the name Roronoa Zoro. This fellow is not just any companion; he forms part of the mighty trio known as the Monster Trio, which positions him among the most formidable crew members on board the Straw Hat Pirates’ vessel. His ambition? To be recognized as the strongest swordsman in the world of One Piece. Hence, he is always on the lookout for chances to boost his power levels.
Despite having bested several prominent adversaries, there’s still potential for Zoro to advance further. He’s acquired numerous boosts in power, but there are still foes he hasn’t outmatched just yet. Interestingly, Oda might have given a clue about how Zoro could surpass them.
Roronoa Zoro Is One Of The Strongest One Piece Characters
Roronoa Zoro boasts exceptional physical traits, outmatching many other characters in terms of resilience and energy levels. His physical power surpasses that of most others in a league of its own. Moreover, Zoro’s physical prowess is complemented by his skillful Haki usage. Not only can he employ all three forms of Haki, but he belongs to an exclusive group who possess this ability.
Zoro has a knack for employing Armament Haki effectively in numerous battles, yet it wasn’t always a skill he possessed naturally. It was during the timeskip that he mastered both Armament and Observation Haki. In the Sabaody Archipelago arc, Kuma employed his Devil Fruit to transport Zoro to Kuriagana Island, home of Dracule Mihawk. Typically, Zoro would have sought a fight with Mihawk to challenge for his title. However, in an unusual turn of events, Zoro asked Mihawk to train him instead, so that he could grow stronger and support his captain Luffy. This display of loyalty towards Luffy left Mihawk impressed, as it demonstrated Zoro’s willingness to put aside his personal objectives.
For a span of two years, Zoro honed his skills under Mihawk and mastered both Armament and Observation Haki. As mentioned before, Zoro’s proficiency in Armament Haki is remarkable, and it continues to strengthen with every confrontation. However, to outshine the Admirals, Zoro requires more than just this formidable skill. What else can he achieve?
Zoro’s Conqueror’s Haki Will Put Him Above The Admirals

- Conqueror’s Haki significantly increases damage output
- Zoro needs to master this ability to surpass the Admirals
Prior to the Wano Country arc, Zoro was oblivious to the fact that he possessed the power of Conqueror’s Haki. However, during his battle against Kaido, he discovered this formidable ability. Once aware of its devastating potential, Zoro developed a new fighting style known as King of Hell. This technique imbues his swords with black lightning and a green aura. Zoro first employed King of Hell against King, one of Kaido’s lieutenants, and later used it to engage Rob Lucci on Egghead Island. Despite defeating both adversaries using King of Hell, it’s clear that Zoro still struggles with mastering Conqueror’s Haki.

As an avid fan, I’m finding myself in a pickle because right now, I heavily depend on Enma to unleash my Conqueror’s Haki, which is quite the predicament. To boost my strength, I need to master the art of using Conqueror’s Haki independently. However, without some expert guidance, it seems like a daunting task. Luckily, it appears that Zoro might discover his new mentor amidst the grandeur of Elbaf.
Scopper Gaban Might Teach Zoro To Utilize Conqueror’s Haki
By Mastering Conqueror’s Haki, Zoro Can Supplant The Admirals

In Chapter 1148 of One Piece, viewers witnessed Gaban easily defeating Shepherd Sommers. This marks him as the first individual known to bypass the immortality of the Holy Knights. However, while Gaban managed to overpower Sommers, he might struggle against Gunko and Killingham. He will require assistance, which will be provided by Luffy and Zoro. Yet, in order for them to help, Gaban will need to instruct them on the technique. At this point, it remains unknown how exactly Gaban was able to harm the Holy Knights, but it’s plausible that it involves the use of Conqueror’s Haki – a skill both Luffy and Zoro possess and have demonstrated aptitude in learning.
If Zoro masters Conqueror’s Haki, he can darken his blades, which enhances their power and puts them at an even higher threat level. Having accomplished this, Zoro will exceed the capabilities of the Admirals, leading him to pursue greater challenges.
