In the game “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time,” one of the skills to master is Mining, yet advancing in this skill may prove challenging due to its initially confusing mechanics and lack of a well-defined pathway for leveling up. Consequently, mining can feel overwhelming for newcomers to the game.
In this tutorial, we’ll go over essential details for miners to navigate potential roadblocks during the leveling process, offering a streamlined mining path for quicker advancement, along with optimal skills to focus on as they climb up the ranks.
Miner Life Skills And Tips
The Miner Life boasts unique abilities that enhance the damage dealt towards ore deposits by players, as well as providing crucial buffs and active skills essential for breaking nodes and gathering resources. Most resources will be highlighted on the mini-map and the map tab, allowing players to preview the node type and level just by hovering over them.
Players should be aware that each resource node, such as Trees, Fish Spots, Deposits/Crystals, contains special areas called ‘Sweet Spots’. These Sweet Spots are found in all resource nodes and aid in recovery. As time goes by, resource nodes naturally regenerate their health bars. During the collection mini-game, players will notice that the resource nodes gradually heal themselves while the players attempt to break them.
In simpler terms, there are four unique abilities within Miner Life that speed up character progression, and it’s advisable for players to prioritize unlocking these skill points on the Skill Tree as swiftly as they can.
- SP+: Critical for breaking the most challenging nodes. The More SP, the more actions the player can take before they need to recover. And as resource nodes recover health with time, draining all SP means players cannot keep digging anymore, and they will fail the resource collection.
- Sweet Spot Search: As the name implies, it will help players detect where the hit spot is in the resource node. It will consume a negligible amount of SP and help players save a lot of stamina by indicating to them where they need to hit the node to maximize damage.
- Ore Breaker: A charged version of the regular attack, it consumes more SP but deals tons of damage, especially to Sweet Spots. Use it to break special Ores like the Fire Crystal in Banaan Cave.
- Bedrock Smash: Unleashes a powerful special attack that deals tons of damage to Deposits and Crystals. It needs to be charged as any Special Attack, but the more Sweet Spots the player hits, the faster it charges.
Friendly Mining Companions, similar to Douglas, can assist players in extracting Ore Deposits and Crystals. Arm them with Mining Picks and a Mining Outfit to enhance their ability to damage resource nodes, making it easier for players to tackle even the toughest mining tasks.
How To Level Up Miner In Fantasy Life i
Initially, adventurers should make their way to the Novice Miner’s Pit, situated on the northeastern part of Eternia Village, during the Apprentice Miner quest. Upon locating Beryl there, they can mine an abundance of ores within the pit itself. The Copper Ore Deposits at this location span from Level 2 to 5, making it a quick and effective way for players to level up to levels 5 or 6.
The journey will lead them to Mysteria’s Capital, a place with numerous Level 4 to 8 nodes on the cliffs that border beaches on either side of the city. Gather experience points from these deposits, and once they run out, exit the zone via the northern road and return to mine more copper for further farming.
When gamers advance to levels 8 or 10, their journey will lead them to Banaan Cave as their next destination. Notably, this cave’s entrance lies to the west of Mysteria Capital, situated on a beach beneath the main road. Inside, you’ll find Copper deposits ranging from level 9 to 15 in quality, but what sets it apart is:
– The Fire Crystal essential for players aiming to reach levels 30 and beyond, which reappears every 5 minutes.
In other words, upon reaching that specific spot and having achieved at least levels 17 or 18 in the game Miner, this is the recommended path to follow.
- Gather as many Copper Deposits, then exit and enter again to farm more Ores.
- Wait for the timer for the Fire Crystal to reset, then farm it to gain a bunch of EXP.
- Repeat the process until reaching the desired level.
In addition to visiting Ginormosia, players have the option to adjust the island level via Googlina’s Tower. This allows resourceful deposits to appear on the map and assists players in their journey towards reaching the maximum level of 100. Additionally, players can engage in the exciting challenges within the Mining Mania area, which reward them with additional Miner Experience Points as well as bonus Dosh for their participation.
