In the last days of May, the games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are hosting a massive Bug-type Pokemon appearance event, which will take place from May 30th to June 1st. Over this weekend, trainers playing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have the opportunity to catch three Bug-type Pokemon known for their silk production skills.

Mass Outbreaks of Pokémon are frequent events, allowing players to discover numerous individuals from specific Pokémon species. Not only does this offer players an excellent chance to expand their collection and find ones with impressive stats, but these Mass Outbreaks often increase Shiny rates as well, making it a fantastic opportunity for hunting the featured Pokémon.

Starting May 29th at 5 pm Pacific Time, the games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are preparing to kick off a Silk-themed Mass Outbreak Event featuring Bug-type Pokemon. During this event, players can expect to find Tarountula in Paldea, Spinarak in Kitakami, and Venonat in the Terarium through Mass Outbreaks. The event will conclude on June 1st at 4:59 pm PT. Additionally, players might have increased chances of catching Shiny versions, as the rate for these rare variants will be elevated during the Mass Outbreak event.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Players Have Things to Do and Look Forward To

Despite players having limited time to capture their preferred Silk-using Bug-types in the upcoming games, there’s more than just that to look forward to over the weekend. In addition to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they’ll also host the second round of the Garchomp the Unrivaled Seven-Star Tera Raid event happening concurrently. During this event, Garchomp will be a Ground Tera type.

If you’ve already conquered the Tera Raid and find no appeal in the Mass Outbreak Pokemon, there’s a treat coming your way – a free Porygon2 is on its way! A Mystery Gift code for this exciting creature will be revealed post the finals of the South Korea Pokemon Trainers Cup, happening from June 7 to 8.

Almost three years since the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the series continues to offer plenty to engage players. Yet, some enthusiasts might have their attention fully on the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Z-A, slated for launch this year. With rumors suggesting a Nintendo Direct is imminent, Pokemon aficionados should stay vigilant for any news regarding the title.
