Unlock the Ultimate Hunter Skills in Fantasy Life I for Epic Gameplay!

In the game “Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time”, as characters progress through levels, they earn perks in various forms. With each level up, they are awarded skill points that can be used to enhance their abilities in the skill tree, making them more effective in combat or granting access to new special moves. Additionally, certain nodes in the skill tree function as defensive bonuses, boosting a player’s health or resistance to various status conditions.

Instead, with each rank advancement, the player’s weapon-based damage also amplifies, implying that even without purchasing new abilities, your attacks become slightly stronger just by progressing through levels. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to allocate skill points wisely, as advanced stages of the game may demand extensive grinding for level ups.

Best Early Game Skills for Hunter

At the outset of the game, players should strive to advance from a beginner status (Fledgling) to an intermediate one (Adept) quickly, and this can be achieved by tailoring your skill purchases to align with the objectives of the life missions. Many missions within the game necessitate using specific charged attacks or skills, which must first be unlocked through the skill board. Therefore, it would be advantageous to prioritize these skills and unlock them promptly in order to accumulate the necessary rank points.

Regarding Hunter, his set of skills encompasses “Sleep Arrows” in the lower branch, “Lightning Shots” in the upper branch, and “Ultra-Piercing Arrow 1” in the left branch. For optimal results, I’d recommend prioritizing these three branches of the skill tree to unlock those abilities initially.

Unlocking Switch Arrows: Poison is also recommended afterward.

After acquiring these unique abilities, players can begin to prioritize a specific section of the skill tree that primarily enhances passive bonuses, thereby amplifying their overall attack power. Advancing along this path is crucial as it unlocks most of the other nodes situated in different branches.

Best Mid-Game Skills for Hunter

After opening the starting points on all branches, you’ll have the freedom to select various routes. The uppermost branch presents three options, and it is strongly suggested that you prioritize the correct path within this branch, as it leads to the “Hurricane Shot” skill. This is an advanced form of “Lightning Shot,” which replaces the final bolt of lightning with a powerful hurricane, expanding the attack’s reach significantly, making it more effective than a solitary strike of lightning.

Instead of taking the left path on the upper branch, which focuses on broadening the scope of the Arrow Rain ability and lowering its SP usage, but may not be worth it, consider postponing that path until you’ve addressed other pressing matters first. The current version of Arrow Rain is quite effective, and these enhancement options don’t seem to provide any significant benefits to it.

The midpoint on the main branch represents a late-stage or endgame segment, and the culminating point in this area confers a 10% increase in Critical Rate and a 20% boost to Critical Damage for all characters. This is undeniably a noteworthy node to acquire, as it considerably enhances every character. However, it’s important to note that the middle path demands an advanced-level Hunter, which is a late-game asset.

Following Hurricane Shot, it’s crucial for players to concentrate on perfecting the Ultra-Piercing Arrow 3. The basic form of this skill is potent, but its third enhancement enables it to fire two consecutive shots rather than one, inflicting severe damage on adversaries, particularly when they are immobilized or unconscious.

For the second enhancement of Ultra-Piercing Arrow, it will decrease the SP usage, making it an effortless upgrade. However, the third upgrade necessitates that you’ve previously unlocked 30 skill nodes. This is the ideal time to focus on all the affordable skills located in the right and bottom sections of the skill tree. Following this path also grants some abilities that decrease the preparation time for special shots, thereby speeding up the use of both Rain of Arrows and Ultra-Piercing Arrow.

In Fantasy Life, since the Hunter primarily deals ranged damage and most enemies attack with melee, it’s typically simple for a Hunter to evade enemy attacks by staying out of harm’s way. Therefore, investing skill points in defensive abilities like Magic Defense or Paralysis Resistance might not be necessary as the Hunter can usually dodge damage effectively.

Instead, consider postponing your investments in defensive upgrades for now since they are currently less crucial. Focus more on acquiring points for the skills that will unlock the final nodes, which become important later in the game.

Without a doubt, it’s crucial to focus on advancing in the lower branch, particularly the intermediate route, to enhance the Speed Point (SP) recovery rate and overall SP capacity. The SP Recovery+ ability is the sole skill that expedites SP regeneration, and unfortunately, there are no other methods in the game to amplify this process. This underscores the necessity of swiftly unlocking this node for optimal results.

Best Endgame Skills for Hunter

Previously, I mentioned that Hunter’s most outstanding feature is the midway point’s top branch final node, known as Hawk Eye. To access this node, there are three conditions: First, it demands 20 Skill Points; second, the player must have previously unlocked a total of 50 nodes across the entire skill tree; and third, the player must be a seasoned Hunter, classified as a Hero Hunter.

The three prerequisites for this skill are so expensive that you’ll probably achieve your goal before fulfilling them entirely, making it an advanced skill for endgame play. But, the benefits of this skill extend to every life form, which makes the effort required to earn it worthwhile. This node will demonstrate its worth when you employ the unique abilities of lower-level lives, particularly gathering ones such as Miner, Woodcutter, Farmer, or Fisherman.

Apart from the primary node, the last node at the bottom of the skill tree, “Hunter’s Fury,” is an exceptional end-game enhancement too. The node situated at the tail end of the middle path in the lower branch increases Critical Hit Damage by 20% and also enhances Critical Hit Rate by 5%. Unlike Hawk Eye, the benefits derived from Hunter’s Fury are exclusive to the Hunter’s combat capabilities. However, when paired with Hawk Eye’s boost, it amplifies the Hunter’s special move damage output by a significant 40%, making it incredibly potent.

Fortunately, achieving Hunter’s Fury isn’t nearly as challenging as Hawkeye, and players even have a chance to get it before finishing the main storyline.

How to Respec Skills in Fantasy Life i

Using your ability points unwisely by investing them on the less advantageous branches of the skill chart can lead to a regrettable error since earning more ability points gets tougher as you advance in the game and climb up the levels. Fortunately, the game provides a method for correcting this mistake, but it will require some resources.

You have the flexibility to reassign your skills whenever you like during gameplay. To accomplish this, simply make your way either to the “Guild Office” located within the “Base Camp” or to “Aunt Anne’s house” in the “Eternal Village”. Inside these buildings, look for a flower that appears lip-shaped on the counter. By interacting with this NPC, you can completely restructure your skill tree and keep all your skill points intact.

However, you must pay 10,000 Dosh to respec, and it will only apply to one life, not all of them.
