The storyline is soaring to unprecedented heights, and the Final Saga is truly living up to its name. Somehow, Imu seems to be pulling off a grand scheme that’s shaking up the manga right now – all thanks to what’s happening in Marijoa. In the latest chapter 1149 of One Piece, Imu dropped some alarming news that has fans buzzing, as the Holy Land appears to be meeting its demise!
Marijoa Is The Holy Land Of The Celestial Dragons
- Marijoa is The Capital of the World Government
- The Celestial Dragons Reside Right There
One Piece’s narrative features a myriad of fascinating locales, each unique and distinct from the rest. Certainly, some locations stand out more than others, and Marijoa is undeniably among those that make a lasting impression.
Among all the places in the One Piece series, Marijoa stands out as one of the most significant. I remember first encountering it way back in chapter 142 of the manga, right during the Drum Island arc.
Previously, I hadn’t noticed much focus being given to this particular location. It wasn’t until the Reverie arc – nestled between the happenings of Whole Cake Island and Wano – that the manga artist, Oda, shed some light on it. In this arc, fans were granted a more detailed view of this location at last.
Marijoa sits in an unusual location; it lies atop the Red Line, sandwiched between Paradise and the New World. This region serves as the primary headquarters for the World Government, where the celestial beings known as the Celestial Dragons of the One Piece universe dwell.
Marijo remains rather enigmatic, generally speaking, yet increasingly, we’re uncovering more facts about the Sacred Territory. It’s worth noting that this is also the domain of One Piece’s most powerful entity, Saint Imu Nerona, the clandestine ruler of the world.
The fact that Marijoa’s position and its high level of security gave fans the impression that it was invincible. Yet, a recent development shows that it’s actually facing significant difficulties.
Marijoa Is In Flames As Confirmed By Imu
Imu Takes Over Gunko’s Body
Marijoa lies in a challenging location that poses difficulties for potential attackers. Scaling the Red Line is no simple feat, especially when considering an entire army trying to do so. Beyond its strategic position, Marijoa houses some of the most formidable characters within the series. Imu stands out as the strongest character, and he never leaves Marijoa’s confines. However, even disregarding Imu, there are other incredibly powerful figures present. The Gorosei, also known as the Five Elders, can be found in Marijoa, along with Holy Knights – powerful fighters who frequently reside there. Additionally, if necessary, the Marines can dispatch strong members, such as the Admirals, from Marijoa.
Although several challenges persist, it seems Marijoa is enduring a fierce assault, as depicted in One Piece chapter 1149. Fans witness Marijoa enveloped in flames, and Imu, conversing with the three Holy Knights on Elbaf, expresses his frustration over their delay.
Supporters began speculating that conditions in Marijoa might be deteriorating since Shamrock, the present head of the Holy Knights, had to return there. However, few anticipated the true extent of the problems. Now, a crucial query arises: who is orchestrating these assaults on the Sacred Realm?
Who Is The Culprit Behind The Marijoa Attack?
Some Believe It to Be The Revolutionary Army, But It’s Unlikely
At the moment, it’s unclear who is accountable for the significant assault on Marijoa, as various speculations are circulating.
It’s commonly thought that the Revolutionary Army may be responsible for this attack, given their mission to eliminate the Celestial Dragons and their recent presence at Marijoa. Yet upon closer examination, this theory seems unlikely. The Revolutionary Army wouldn’t launch an attack on the Sacred Land at this time, as their primary objective is to liberate slaves and engage the Holy Knights in combat there. Such an action doesn’t seem characteristic of Monkey D. Dragon’s command.
So if not the Revolutionary Army, then who could it be?
When you disregard the Revolutionary Army, two potential choices emerge: the Blackbeard Pirates or the Red-Haired Pirates.
Between these two factions lies the potential to launch an assault on Marijoa; however, it’s crucial to remember that other parties might also be involved, making the outcome uncertain. So, enthusiasts should remain patient as events unfold.
