In the game World of Warcraft, some special rewards from the Timewalking event in Battle for Azeroth have hidden functions. For instance, these mounts come with unique summoning animations and certain toys allow players to morph into a K’thir or Sethrak character. These items can be acquired using Timewarped Badges during Timewalking weeks within Battle for Azeroth, starting with Patch 11.1.7.
In the latest update, Patch 11.1.7, Legacy of Arathor, it has been announced that Timewalking in World of Warcraft‘s expansion, Battle for Azeroth, is on its way. Blizzard hasn’t fully disclosed all the rewards from this event’s vendor yet, but eagle-eyed fans have already found some of them in the Public Test Realm. Among these finds are the Moonlit Nightsaber and Ivory Savagemane mounts.
These mounts in World of Warcraft have some hidden characteristics that may not be obvious at first glance. Notably, they have unique summoning animations. For instance, the Moonlit Nightsaber is called forth when the character kneels and is enveloped by a beam of moonlight. On the other hand, the Ivory Savagemane appears after an offering is made to Gonk, the raptor spirit of the Hunt. Both Alliance and Horde characters can use these mounts, which are available for purchase at a cost of 5,000 Timewarped Badges each.
WoW: Battle for Azeroth Timewalking Toys and Mounts
In addition to the unique rewards accompanying Battle for Azeroth‘s Timewalking, two toys are also being introduced by vendors: the Sea-Blessed Shrine and the Lightning-Blessed Spire. These toys create small shrines that allow you to perform water and lightning cosmetic rituals respectively. However, as found out by Wowhead, using the /peer command on the Sea-Blessed Shrine will transform you into one of five K’thir characters for 10 minutes. Similarly, employing the /pray command on the Lightning-Blessed Spire changes you into one of six Sethrak models. Each toy costs 1,000 Timewarped Badges and has a cooldown of five minutes, allowing players to remain in these forms continuously by repeatedly using them.
The neighborhood is thrilled to witness these fresh perks. Enthusiasts of Night Elf and Troll are chomping at the bit to acquire these striking mounts, and they’re also hoping for similar animations to be added to other characters down the line. Similarly, fans of the Mind Flayer-like K’thir and the Sethrak serpents from World of Warcraft are overjoyed because they can now use these toys to essentially embody these NPC races, which expands roleplaying opportunities significantly.
The upcoming patch for World of Warcraft, Patch 11.1.7, hasn’t been given a firm launch date yet, but according to the PTR calendar, it looks like June 17 will mark the beginning of Turbulent Timeways.
