Atlus Has Already Recast Some Persona 4 Characters in the Past

Considering that Persona 3 Reload used an entirely new voice cast, it’s quite possible that Atlus might adopt a similar strategy for its rumored remake of Persona 4. Previously, some main characters in Persona 4 have been recast. For instance, Chie Satonaka was originally voiced by Tracey Rooney, but Erin Fitzgerald took over the role after Persona 4, while Matthew Mercer replaced Troy Baker as the voice of Kanji in subsequent releases like P4 Golden. Similarly, Naoto was voiced by Anna Graves in the original 2008 version but was later voiced by Valie Arem starting from P4 Golden.
