EA has unveiled a fresh summer-inspired plan for The Sims 4, detailing scheduled releases over the coming months. Unlike regular quarterly roadmaps for The Sims 4, this one serves as a teaser for what’s to come in Q2. Dubbed “Sim Your Summer,” it previews an upcoming Sims Livestream, the announcement of the roadmap on June 5th, the debut of The Sims Board Game, and various updates for The Sims FreePlay.
It’s worth noting that the roadmap does not include an upcoming event called “The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling”, which was recently announced on EA’s blog site. This type of events in The Sims 4 typically last between four and six weeks. During these events, players can log in for rewards, accomplish tasks to earn points, and unlock items like Build Mode objects, traits, magical potions, and Aspiration Points using these earned points specifically during “The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event“. Since the event-specific rewards can only be obtained with points earned during this event, players should make sure they don’t miss out on this opportunity.
How The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event Will Work
The “Nature’s Calling Event” commences on June 24 and continues for a total duration of six weeks, extending until August 5. To accommodate latecomers, an additional two weeks have been included as a grace period, making up the event’s entire run time. Players participating in this event will need to finish two Quests each week to collect all the available incentives. Upon logging in with their EA account, players will receive the new Reclaimed Woodworking Table automatically. All rewards are associated with the player’s EA account, reducing the risk of losing them. Each week offers the following announced prizes:

The Sims 4 Nature’s Calling Event Theme
The storyline of “Nature’s Calling” revolves around exploring the great outdoors, crafting wooden items, and unveiling a hidden natural mystery. Players can enhance their Woodworking proficiency using the freshly introduced Woodworking table login bonus. Additionally, they will venture into the wilderness to unearth a mystical secret. The connection between these two aspects is yet to be revealed, but it seems that solving this mystery might be essential to uncover the source of the voice Sims will hear during the event.
Individuals following news about upcoming updates for “The Sims 4” might observe that this event’s theme appears to closely match the rumored details of the upcoming “The Sims 4” expansion pack, which is said to focus on nature and fairies. The event description indicates:
On an extraordinary day, as you venture outdoors, a subtle, vanishing sound catches your ear. The sound seems to have been snatched up by the very wind, yet its echo lingers in your mind, prompting you to seek its origin. Thus, you embark on a quest to uncover where these whispers are coming from.
This strongly suggests a hint of something mystical concealed in nature’s expanse, possibly being the rumored leaks of fairies for The Sims 4. Furthermore, certain prizes, particularly the Odonata Glasses and Flowing Fronds Swimwear, bear a striking resemblance to fairy wings.
The designs are modeled after a dragonfly’s wing, fitting our nature theme, but they also bring to mind the pattern seen on fairy wings from “The Sims 3”. Since this event is scheduled for several weeks following the unveiling of the June-August official roadmap, it seems that Sims players may find themselves in a unique setting during this event and will have much to anticipate.
